16.01.2022 So awesome that we've had lots of enquiries about whether the Denmark Half Marathon is going ahead this year! Unfortunately we need to let everyone know that after discussions amongst our committee and with Denmark Shire, it won't be possible to run the event in 2020. We were just blown away by the response to the inaugural event last year, and hope that we can offer it up again for you all to wear your legs out in future years

07.01.2022 Birdy's Back Yard Ultra Update (as I'm up late doing a uni assignment): There are now two runners left in the race after 36 laps of the 6.7km course, every hour, on the hour, SINCE 10AM YESTERDAY MORNING Michael Hooker and Phil Gore are still going strong, Michael is going fast every lap and did the last one in 30:22 (4:32 pace after 36 hours straight FFS), Phil is going more steady, looking at the race feed neither of them are showing any signs of piking out soon. 01.01.2022 This girl is amazing ! And in about an hour's time, she'll be setting off on this year's Delirious West race on the bibbulmun track from Northcliffe to Albany, all 350 odd kms of it Charmaine is our local gun in the line-up, she's been training hard and making it to the start line its a real achievement. And she's only 25! Follow the dots and cheer on our Albany torch bearer, the finish line is at Limeburners distillery in Albany.
