11.01.2022 Well this doesnt happen very often at all, i actually have mixed emotions about leaving whats been an absolutely amazing project... If you couldnt already tell, this place holds a bit of a special place in my heart, its the first building my brother jasper bienke and myself helped bring out of the ground and paint for aspect construction when i moved to brisbane over a decade ago, to be able to run my own team here for round 2 has been an absolute honor, almost hard to expres...s how blessed i feel to have been givin the opportunity to add this property to the DK portfolio... The coffee sunrises, second to non quality work, lads enjoying a bit of a timeout from the usual go go go and our clients allowing us to take the time to make this "one" something really special... Time to pack up the paint shop and pull ropes boys "one" @ 1 glenny st toowong is now polished and looking like it did the day we left all those years ago, 100% credit to you legends for an outstanding effort... For me, it really solidifies the notion that its not always about the numbers, and that enjoying what you do is a massive part of what keeps us mentally and physically froffin to come back and do it all again for the next client... Cheers to all involved, its been a ripper...!!!

When a complex project needs to run like clockwork, mobilising the right team is paramount... 25 underhang installs, 155 aid route tests, full pressure wash, full colour change, full Repaint with 4 trade technicians in 5 layers of clothing doing 10hr days for 5.5 weeks while battling super cold conditions...... ... ... ... A new benchmark has been achieved here, bloody outstanding effort...!!! Massive thanks to the crew...!!! The project has now been dubbed "One more drop"

Here's a little something for you followers to let you know we are still here and always loving it...!!!... These pictures definitely sum up a huge factoring reason I love abseiling so much, arriving at work with rad people and taking a second to reflect with views like this... Can't believe how lucky we are to be kickin some amazing goals within an industry that provides some of the happiest peoples I know, always hearing stories of their favourite and most challenging projects, always smiling and always willing to share industry knowledge... When I get the time to stop and think about the journey that has been DK it overwhelms me with pleasure to thank each and every person that has helped us grow along the way, mates, fellow workers and clients alike, it's been an absolute honor thus far and I personally wouldn't have it any other way... With very limited working hours due to these businesses needing to stay operational during the daylight hours we decided to send in the vampire prep crew... 1 hahahaaaa 2 hahahaaa 3 hahahaaard nights work but always worth it to see the smiles on our clients faces...... We smiled back but I think the fangs scared them off... @ West End
