25.01.2022 Thanks to all the riders, volunteers and spectators who made yesterday’s RUOK/Poker race a huge success. Lots of fun, mates (old and new), food, prizes, thrills and spills and some serious poker card dealings going on in the background. A special thanks to the NT Government for providing DORC with grant monies, through the Suicide Prevention Community Grant, to assist our promotion of suicide prevention. We were also pleased to welcome Tim from the Department of Health and Junie from Team Health who came down to talk with us about suicide prevention and how to best look after ourselves and our mates. Race results to follow. Take a minute to find the photo of Phil and his run in with the stick. Close call

12.01.2022 Got a feeling that someone you know or care about it isn’t behaving as they normally would? Perhaps they seem out of sorts? More agitated or withdrawn? Or they’re just not themselves. Trust that gut instinct and act on it. Learn more about the signs and when it's time to ask R U OK? here. By starting a conversation and commenting on the changes you’ve noticed, you could help that family member, friend or workmate open up. If they say they are not ok, you can follow our conversation steps to show them they’re supported and help them find strategies to better manage the load. If they are ok, that person will know you’re someone who cares enough to ask. https://youtu.be/erHLP29tzPE
