Dance gives me the ability to change through a variety of emotions, from happy to sad, but most importantly dance makes me feel alive and connected to my body. With so much technology and screens in the world today, it's a very grounding and spiritual act that for me that brings you back to yourself and clears the mind. When dancing I'm taken away from all my worries and stresses and I feel absolutely free. Dancing allows me to feel completely present and completely absent all at once, I'm so in the moment of dancing that I forget about the real world around me. I've known Steph for 2 years and she always amazes me with how eager she is to teach even the slowest of learners (me). I have the priveledge to call her my dance partner and friend.
