24.01.2022 When a solution doesn't exist, it's time to get the cardboard and texta's out. This CX-3 came in with the base audio from factory and the owner wanted better phone connectivity and a reverse camera. After some homework we found there wasn't an off the shelf solution available but felt there was an opportunity to utilise Pioneer's new 9" tablet offering.... While we're still fine tuning the trims we thought we'd share the process pics.

24.01.2022 LC200 installation of front and rear parking sensors. The rear sensors are in the factory plastic bar and the fronts have been installed into the ARB bull-bar with rubber isolators. The sensors are colour matched for that factory look.

23.01.2022 VF Commodore with 9" Alpine Solution. Now running STreet Mapping, CarPlay & Android Auto, Bluetooth, USB/HDMI and DAB+ Digital Radio. We rounded this upgrade out with some Focal 6" 2-ways in the factory speaker locations with some late-night sound deadening to get plenty of mid-bass up front.

23.01.2022 This early Subaru Outback has lost the faulty 6CD unit and is now sporting Android Auto, Apple CarPlay and Bluetooth media thanks to the ever versatile Alpine iLX-W650 unit.

22.01.2022 2019 Honda HRV with factory lane-assist camera now sporting 9" CarPlay, Android Auto & GPS with Alpine's iNE-F409. The factory lane-assist camera is retained as are the factory steering wheel audio controls. For the last two of these HRV's we've swapped out the reverse camera to a better quality unit to make the most of the large screen. If you're looking for a solution that isn't available from the local autoparts retailers, get in touch. We love the challenge.

21.01.2022 T5 VW Transporter upgrade. For this one we used the new Pioneer 9" wireless Android & CarPlay unit. The speed, connectivity and screen resolution is simply awesome.

19.01.2022 Let there be light! A quartet of Nitro 180mm 80w lights will part the night like Moses parted the sea. All mounted up on a custom fabricated rack made by the customer. We completed the package with a set of JW Speaker H4 & T10 globes to improve the lighting from park all the way to high beam.

19.01.2022 We installed this handy little upgrade today for owners of the current shape Rav4 Hybrid and Cruisers. It's about the only gadget Toyota doesn't fit to these well appointed vehicles.

17.01.2022 2018 BT-50 came factory equipped with an awesome 8" Alpine multi-media source. The speakers though.... well needless to say we've tweaked this one up a bit. Alpine R-Series speakers front and rear now reside in heavily deadened doors with a 5-channel Alpine S-Series amplifier powering them and little 8" subwoofer. The Subwoofer is one of JL Audio's stars and the high excursion and small box requirements make it a standout performer in dual cab utes.

17.01.2022 What better way to kick of your migration to FNQ than with some carefully selected audio gear. Having built many a system for this customer since the late 1990's it was our privilege to get one more in before departing our island state. After being retired for a while the discretionary funds aren't quite like they used to be but that doesn't mean great sound isn't an option.... This little system redefines an under-seat subwoofer, uses a mid-level amplifier and front door speakers along with a loaded Toyota-fit Kenwood source. The end result smashed all his expectations and will serve him well on the adventure we call life. Enjoy Foxy.

For this Mazda 3 we retained the factory source unit but replaced the amplifier and front speakers. This upgrade gives so much clean, powerful sound over the Bose option it's simply no comparison. The addition of a nice little 8" JL Audio sub in the boot helps out too.

03.01.2022 Renault Trafic X82 JL Audio system and 9" Pioneer visual upgrade. Plenty of sound deadening to the front doors makes the JL Audio C3 speakers sound amazing. The compact 8" vented enclosure under the seat along with the RD 5-Channel amp round out an impressive little system.
