21.01.2022 Q: Are there Government Rebates and how do I claim it? A: Yes. The Federal Government pays approximately 30-50% of the cost of the installed system. This is calculated depending on the size of the system. You do not have to pay the full amount upfront. Including the deposit, you only pay the after rebate price. The balance is paid to the installer by the Government after the installation is complete in the form of STCs. Currently, the Federal Government reduces the rebate incrementally each year on January 1.
