24.01.2022 On The Busselton Foreshore Next Month Perth Is OK When you think of iconic WA destinations the huge Little Creatures Brewery down in the Fremantle Boat Harbour definitely springs to mind. And thats vibe Shelter Brewing Co. will be going for when they launch their new brewery right across from the world renowned Busselton Jetty at the end of October.... Licensed to hold a whopping 650 people, its set to become a south west destination venue very quickly over the coming summer. The sustainably built and maintained space (80% of the brewerys power will come from a 100-kilowatt solar panel system) has been in the works since 2014. The venue will have a top floor function room, beer garden, lounge area, long inside bar and an open plan kitchen/restaurant. Itll also be home to a coffee and bagel cafe in the mornings. Itll also provide a nice little jobs boon for the people of Busso, with 40-60 workers set to be hired in the coming weeks. But what about the beer?! we hear you ask. While we dont know specifics, theyll be brewing five different beers and one cider on site, with were sure plenty of other local crafties on offer.
