24.01.2022 The workshop! The NSW State Government is funding the clean up from the bushfires. So grateful. Now........ Started to lay a slab for the new workshop. Nearly 3 months and we really are only just beginning to rebuild. @ Wombatframes

22.01.2022 Happy day! The Wombat Workshop is finally finally finally underway. Yeah!!!! Thanks to everyone for support, help, kindness, Love, patience and supporting attention. Not sure how many more sleeps left to go but......... It is underway! We're starting out by sanding and repainting our burnt out shipping containers for the new "dusty" part of the workshop. It's cheaper, it's recycling and we'll have it all exactly how we want. The only downside? It's still a lot of work.

19.01.2022 Ok. We are going to recycle our burnt out shipping containers for a new workshop. Here is a before photo. A repaint and a new floor. The added bonus of reusing a few scoops of our Mother Earth's bountiful resources . A realisation dawns. Quality stuff is always kept, treasured, protected, repaired and lasts. Junk stuff is always just thrown out and doesn't last. Save up. Buy quality! @ Wombatframes

19.01.2022 Rain !!!! After 3 months, finally a thunderstorm. Only 30 minutes. At present we aren't fussy and will accept whatever Mother Earth wants to offer. @ Wombatframes

19.01.2022 The 1st step for the new workshop is to pressure wash and paint our old burnt out Shipping Containers. The award for cutting edge recycling goes to @wombatframes ! Tell your friends about our frames because we'll need all your support when we finally start up again. Thanks!

18.01.2022 What a Journey! Wombat Frames just sent off their 1st batch of frames. 13 months of recovery, rebuilding,and re-inspiration !!!!! The patience of everyone.............!!!!!! The support of you all.........!!!!!!! We're a lot slower as we begin. But we're a lot cleverer, wiser and happier!... We found time away from business and crafting and are grateful for the opportunity that the bushfire brought Now, we are going to make our frames because we enjoy it and want to. 17.01.2022 Bushfire art is about all we can come up with at present. 10% cleaned up the property . 20% purchased replacement workshop tools. Not much percent ready to get back to it all yet. The TV news seems so surreal. It feasts on the latest "exciting " disaster and keeps rolling along. Thanks for reading.

16.01.2022 Clearing the property of dead and dangerous treees has started. It will take a week there are so many. Then, we can start to move around, clean up the mess and establish a workshop. Yeah! Progress.
