20.01.2022 In the words of Stevie Wonder "isn't she lovely" . I just love it when I get sent selfies of my ladies wearing Eco Pout. So let me introduce you to a very special lady named Lisa. Lisa is from Kangaroo Island in South Australia which you may remember from earlier in the year when the island was ravaged by bushfires and burnt for weeks on end. Countless wildlife were wiped out and those who survived were left with horrific injuries and trauma as a result. .... Lisa and her husband, son and daughter run @kangala_rescue and I had the pleasure of crossing paths with her through the all volunteer work I do with @therescuecollective. I'm fortunate to now call Lisa a personal friend and I now welcome her to my Eco Pout following. . Lisa and her family of wildlife warriors bravely rescue and lovingly rehabilitate our injured and orphaned wildlife on KI. Very grateful to have crossed paths with this earth angel and her new 'Rescue Me' Eco Pout lipstick looks picture perfect on Lisa and Tulsa the thinks to too! . 15.01.2022 Of all the perfect pairings there ever was, one of my favourites is always going to be lipstick and a pair of show stopping earrings. . Soooo I'm very excited and mega proud to be part of @rockandbonds pink wall display at @vendmarketplace over in Virginia. .... I've been working day and night getting my stock and display stand ready for this and finally moved in this afternoon. I'm packing some serious bags...and not the going-on-holiday kind, but more dark-circle-under-eye kind due to me faffing like a mad Virgo over this day and night. Very thankful to my patient man who has supplied me with endless cups of coffee, ideas, humour and tissues for my bouts of erratic ugly crying. . 12.01.2022 Hey Eco Pouters, are you following @therescuecollective yet? . As I have a following of conscious caring humans here, I wanted to use my small reach to share info and create as much awareness as possible (so apologies for it not being lipstick related). .... @therescuecollective work collaboratively to support animal rescues, carers, wildlife organisation and their volunteers across Australia. They are under the pump like crazy due to the horrific bushfires that are tearing through the country. . As well doing volunteer driving runs for this amazing team I've also been passed the baton to look after the Instagram account from today. I will give it my absolute all and then some to create awareness, grow the following, create a feeling of connectedness for us all to come together with our broken hearts while we watch this disaster unfold, and hopefully inspire many more donations for them. . There are so many amazing volunteers spinning miracles behind the scenes in this Collective, and me being able to run their Insta page means they can focus on other super important tasks supporting our suffering wildlife in the wake of this unfolding national disaster. . 08.01.2022 Hey lipstick lovers, I'm back . Excited to be jumping into 2020 with all things lipstick, gloss and blush. I had a good break over the holidays catching up with family and friends. .... I also got to do alot of volunteering with a Brisbane not for profit organisation very close to my heart called The Rescue Collective as some of you may know. They have been working like mad things getting crucial supplies and feed out to fire and drought affected wildlife rescues and carers around the country. I've been very honoured to be accepted as part of the team over there. . It dawned on me the other day that one of the lipsticks in my collection is aptly named 'Rescue Me', so I've decided to donate 100% of all profits on that colour to The Rescue Collective for the next month. . Anyway just a short post to say hi, hope you are all well and here's to a new year of all things colourful and pouty.
