25.01.2022 Another fantastic night in Kingaroy for night 2 of the Kings Royal. Nathan again finished on the podium in 2nd position, Rodney 10th and Mitchell 11th! Great driving by all the boys!

12.01.2022 MODLITE MAYHEM 4 nights of racing in Archerfield, Gympie & Maryborough... ARCHERFIELD On Boxing Day, Nathan ran the Q48 at Archerfield Speedway. After a pretty average night with the Battery and Fuel pump deciding they’d had enough, we discovered a few minor faults on the car yesterday morning. With a day full of repairs, the car was ready to hit the track for night 2 in Gympie.... GYMPIE All 3 cars had a run in Gympie last night. Last minute change of driver in the Q64 with Cathy Pammenter having a steer! Cathy did a fantastic job showing up the boys by out qualifying them for the feature. Being her first race meeting, she had to start from the rear and brought the car home in 14th position. Mitchy again did well and had a ball while he was out there in the Q82. He unfortunately had a bingle with the wall in his final heat and as per usual, the wall won! A quick front end repair and he started the feature out of P12 and finished in the same position. Nathan has a less than desirable night in the Q48, a few crashes happened in front of him and ended up having to fix quite a few issues with the car during the night. Unfortunately Nathan had a DNS for the feature. MARYBOROUGH We’re all ready to go for night 3 here at Maryborough Speedway. Let’s hope all the modlites can survive for Round 7 of the Campbells series tomorrow night. LET’S HAVE SOME FUN!

11.01.2022 Unfortunately, Mother Nature decided Saturday night was not the night for the Queensland title! :( The boys are looking forward to their next race meeting in Maryborough on 24 October!

11.01.2022 Well! Did we have an eventful Saturday night at Hi-Tec Oils Speedway in Toowoomba. Our resident ginger ninja decided his car wanted a belly rub and had an extremely gentle rollover. Thankfully our Bailey Payne was not deterred by this and was able to get back on the track that same night with minimal damage. He came through to finish 12th in a mixed Top/New star feature race. Our big boys in the Modlites, Nathan in the Q64, Rodney and in Q48 and Mitchell in the Q82 all had ...a few mishaps during the heat races with help from a few other drivers throughout the night. In the end, the feature placing a were as follows: Mitch in 7th, Nathan in 11th and Rodney in 14th. Rodney also managed to bring home the fastest lap time in the feature. All in all a great night with lots of lessons learnt! Well done to all the other competitors on the night! Looking forward to the next round of the Campbells series in Archerfield on March 21. Nathan and Rodney are leading this series, so it will be interesting to see how results pan out coming down to the crunch time of the series!

09.01.2022 Big night here in Rocky, good luck to all our drivers

09.01.2022 Well... what can we say. Last night was a tricky one at Maryborough Speedway for round 5 of the Campbells Truck & Bobcat Modlite series. The track proved to be challenging not only for the drivers, but also the spectators. Everyone took their fare share of the track home with them in the eyes, ears and noses. The clouds of dust meant poor visibility for everyone involved. Rocket and Nathan finished the night in 4th and 5th, leaving them leading the series! ... Bailey had a good night learning and having fun and finished up 5th in his feature. Poor Mason wishes to forget the evening as he was squeezed towards an infield tractor tyre, causing him to roll his car. Head over to Rocket 8 Racing’s Facebook page to check out the footage. We are all so glad that he is ok! Thank you once again to all of our sponsors, supporters and anyone else who lends a hand. All 3 modlites will be raring to go for round 6 in Toowoomba next weekend!

07.01.2022 After a pretty good result for night 1 of the Kings Royal at Kingaroy, with Nathan finishing 2nd, Mitchell finishing 10th. Unfortunately Cathy finished the night with a DNF. The cars have had a sponge bath and they’re raring to go for night 2. Nathan will be in the 48, Mitch in the 82 and a change of driver for the 64 with Rocket jumping in.
