Katie Maree Adams-Grida We decided to split this transformation into 3 consecutive sessions throughout the week, as we were both time poor and a bit exhausted and there are only so many hours in a day. I do miss having a supportive team in the salon, as in any industry there is so much involved behind the scenes. I am a perfectionist in life and this plays a big role in how I execute my work. keeping the hairs health and integrity is equally as important... as simply achieving a desired colour. This takes time, there is no cutting corners. Chemistry, math, an extensive compression of colour, combined with creative flare and a whole lot of patience underline any perfect outcome in a hair salon. 16 years in and still plenty of room to grow but I am proud to have established myself as a business owner of my craft. A bit of compromise on the integrity which is not how I normally like to play things but Tracya knows what she wants ! It’s a real lot of maintenance to up keep a colour like this and it comes at a cost. It’s not quite as perfect as pictured but it’s important to have realistic expectations and to communication with your client so they understand what’s ...achievable and what’s not and the risks involved.
