20.01.2022 A sister asked me today as we were talking about our concerns with the fires and the lack of rain. what can we do to call in the rain my friend I replied We are woman, we are the walking embodiment of nature in form, we are the divine goddess in human form, each and every woman. We flow, we are juicy and we are water. How do we call in the rain We allow our juices to flow, we cry deep tears that drop to the earth and dampen her, ... we release our divine nectar allowing our sensuality for life flow freely, we lick the earth with our tastes of beauty and love for the juices of life. We as women flow as and with the rivers of her, within and without becoming one to feed each other when in need. I am the waters of life, I flow my nectar of women to the earth for her to flow her waters to nourish me. May my tears nourish a thousand seeds, may my juices produce the nectar of a thousand fruits and may my love fill the hearts of all beings.Hari om Tat Sat See more

09.01.2022 Looking at life holistically, our digestion is much more than a physical action. In Ayurveda, our metabolism is considered to be the golden key to all health, often referred to as agni or digestive fire. Considering all levels of being, including the energtic, mental and emotional body, the quality of our digestive fire can relate to how we process and assimilate our experiences in life, emotionally, intellectually, energetically and spiritually. In other words a healthy dig...estive fire brings a harmonious relationship to living our best life. A food sadhana is more than simply cooking for health, it is a temple practice for life that is good for everyone. You might not recognise the benefits of a food sadhana until you try it for yourself. Seen through the science of ayurveda, Kitchari is a traditional meal to promote healthy digestive fires that not only eliminates toxins from the body, but brings clarity of mind and spirit. Join us on WED Sept 30 for a live demonstration and temple practice of Ayurvedic wisdom ~ the art of Kitchari and Ghee. Book early to prepare yourself for a deeper level of participation. Yoga is one of these arms, of which yoga has it own 8 limbs. The Ayurveda connection explores the ancestry of yoga by deepening your understanding and learning of Ayurveda concepts and practices. These inturn enrich and nurture your yoga practice to be whole in body, mind and spirit (rather than an a b...odily experience.) Join me on Wednesday to explore and understand the unique times of days according to Ayurveda and how it blends with your yoga practice. Every wednesday 4pm @ living Sanga yoga mullumbimby www.embodyedayurveda.com

05.01.2022 Over the past few weeks I have had the heart pleasure of assisting Sara, Chris and baby Ruby in the sacred window of birth, As an ayurdoula I have the honour of holding a container for mother and baby (and family) in the 42 days of postpartum care. Kayakalpa is an Ayurveda word for when the body forces you to become the vehicle for transformation. Birth, Death, menses, menopause, are times of Kayakalpa. Honouring and nurturing the body in the 42 days of kayakalpa with gro...unding warm foods, medicinal oils, herbal baths and teas specially brewed and attended by an ayurdoula is said to keep the body healthier for the next 42 years. The loving care a mother provides for her baby during the after birth window regulates the babys nervous system, setting the tone for the childs entire life. For her to regulate the babys nervous system, the Mothers nervous system needs to be nourished as well. The mother cannot do this on her own, she needs support of in body, mind, spirit and practical in order for her to have a blissful Sacred Window When we view life thru our heart we create it sacred For more information on Postpartum ayurdoula care packages. Also care packages for after death window, for after miscarriages or for any Kayakalpa window contact me on [email protected] www.embodyedayurveda.com

02.01.2022 When your roots in presence grow deep and strong, reaching into the subtle realmsinto the garden below the garden from which lifes expression sprouts and takes formthey effortlessly begin to water and feed you. When harsh weather, strong wind or drought comes; when your leaves and branches above are thrashing and thrown all over the place, your spiritual practice becomes a steady source of rest and clarity, a flame that always warms and nourishes you from the center. ~ Chameli Ardagh
