Have you stopped and wondered about what's above the lower limbs... If there are restrictions above the lower limbs this will be putting strain/tension on the lower limb, so we need to pay more attention to whats causeing the tension below..... It's a great read below

12.01.2022 FAQ - What is the Source of Epiitalis? Epiitalis is an oil extract from the seed of the Biota Orientalis tree. Using a proprietary method, the form of the oil i...s changed from a triglyceride to a type of non-methylated interrupted free fatty acid form. This means that the oil is changed into a form of free fatty acid - a cell structure that is readily absorbed by the body. By doing this we can ensure we get maximum absorption and uptake of the active into the body and therefore into the affected joints.

11.01.2022 Business in Focus Nichole Fitzpatrick Equifitz Therapy 1. How did you become involved in Barrel Racing? I grow up with horses and traveling on show circuits wi...th Mum and Dad, competing at shows with my ponies and Hacks and also playing polocrosse before I turned to Rodeos where I started to Steer Undecorate but wanted to barrel race so I started entering a few local rodeos Barrel Racing on my Polocrosse Horse. But it wasn't until 2005 when I purchased Kohldice that I thought I may as well try training him to barrel race and it all went from there, and we've never looked back. Friends are the ones that got me hocked on barrel racing 2. Name the highlights of your barrel racing career? My biggest barrel racing highlights over the years are winning an Australian Barrel Racing Title in the ABCRA, APRA and the ABHA all on the one great Mare, Just A Busy Cat and then 3 years on been able to start to season some of her youngsters. 3. What inspired you to go down the path of developing your own product/therapy? For myself Ive always been big on maintaining my horses health and well being whilst traveling down the road, for me our horses are the ones that do all the hard work, for them to be able to perform at 110% they must be in the best possible shape to be able to perform at their best. So, Ive always been passionate about taking care of my horses in the best way shape or form that I can. Over the past 10 years Ive maintained my horses using my PEMF Rug system that I invested in and at the time was very sceptical about it all, but thought what the hell I need something to help my horses, this a product that I couldnt live without now. I guess I was also lucky enough to have Di Jenkins work with me on my horses over the years, to help maintain their performance, and I always seen results. So, for me it was the timing that got myself down the path of my own business I have today, Justa had been retired and I was due to have my 2nd baby, I think it was just meant to be. It was the best decision Id made, and wished I had learnt many years ago. Absolutely love working and seeing the changes in horses is pretty amazing, but still so much more to learn, once you start your kind of drawn into continue learning. 4. What percentage of your clients are barrel racers? At this stage I would have to say that Barrel Racers would be a small percentage, I work on a whole range of horses from Rope Horses, Race Horses, Pleasure Horses, Cutting Horses, Campdraft Horses and Challenge Horses. 5. What are 3 things you want people to know about your product/therapy. Keeping your horses pain free allows them to develop physically, mentally and emotionally. Each horse is assessed and treated as a whole horse and to their individual needs. Im focused and passionate about helping you achieve your goals with your equine partners no matter your discipline, to keep your horse at their best without any restrictions nor pain and make them as comfortable as possible to perform to their best ability. Also, to be able to help owners to maintain their horses on a weekly basis at home and when they may require a Bodyworker. Ive gained the following qualifications; Diploma Jenkins Equine Neurophysiologic Therapist (JENT), JENT Equine Red Light Therapy, Animal Neuro-Myofascial Release Practitioner, Equine Myo-Manipulative Functional Therapist, Equine Craniosacral Therapist, Equine Kinesiology Tape Practitioner. And I also use Laser Therapy and PEMF Therapy. 6. What are 3 things are you most proud of in relation to your product/therapy Positive Feedback from Clients. Achieving results on individual horses. The continues support from Clients and how my small business has grown. 7. What message would you like to give barrel racers in relation to your product/the well being of their horses. Take pride in your horse their an athlete in their own right, look after them the best way you can. Prevention is best!!! And Thank you to everyone that has supported my business, and Im happy to help all levels of horse and rider from beginners to professional where ever I can. See more

04.01.2022 Congratulations Cody on your successful win with Ligulate and good luck at the Championships. Great job

04.01.2022 I'll keep this short Yes it's totally important to pull your saddle pad up for alot of reasons. If your saddle pad fits along with your saddle and its in the correct position on your horse it is less likely to pull down and apply pressure over your horses withers and back.... Do your research and find a well made quality pad thats shaped to your horses back it may help alot for you

04.01.2022 Stages of Equine Skeletal Development At which age should we start riding and competing on our horses?? This picture gives us all something to consider and think about ... This picture refers to the fusion of the growth plates within the bones, and should not be confused with joint fusion. The whole growth plate is a very complex process! #equifitztherapy #equinetheray #foodforthought See more

01.01.2022 Well it's 2020 and I'm back on deck. I'll be in Tamworth area most weeks so if you wish to have a session with your equine friends please contact me and we will arrange a time that suits. There is lots of big events coming up over the next few months with the ABCRA finals, and the Nutrien Classic and Campdraft Landmark Sale so if you'd like your horse's feeling their best, I'd be more then happy to help achieve this!!... I have been asked about traveling a little further a field then normal. I'm actually happy to do this at times I'd just need a few horses in your area to make this happen so if you have a few friends interested that will make a day i will do my best to make it happen. All the best to the New Year of 2020.

01.01.2022 This week's Veterinary Physiotherapy Superhint: The saddle sits on intricate and hence vulnerable structures of the highly specialised bones, vertebrae, which, ...if restricted, adversely affect all movement. Note the tiny rib joints and how easily these can become excessively, painfully compressed if a) the tree is twisted b) the flocking is unbalanced c) the gullet clearance is too narrow d) the numnah or saddle cloth lacks protection e) the rider is unbalanced f) there is a combination of all of these factors. The results could be bruised ribs, misaligned ribs, muscle spasm, muscle overuse, abnormal gait, all culminating in compromised breathing. Poor performance is inevitable, especially if the girth is either too loose or too tight. See more
