Day T E N: Air Con & Bathroom Vents & Smoke Alarms Vacuum or hose down your air conditioner vents and wash with warm warm soapy water or add a squirt of dTERRA’s On Guard Cleaner Concentrate into the bucket. Once dry add a few drops off Purify or Easy Air or On Guard essential oils on the filter. ... If you have batteries in your smoke alarm, a great time to change them over when you’ve finished wiping down and make sure it’s working correctly.

We birds are extremely sensitive to household toxins - air fresheners, candles, cleaners etc. Our skin is thin with many blood vessels so we are able to absorb oils easily. So please don’t put them directly on us. I’d like it if you just diffuse oils in my room, not to close at first. 24.01.2022 Good Morning everyone! Day T W E N T Y S E V E N : Vacuum and Mop On the home stretch now. I make up my own carpet deodoriser up (so much more cost effect and I know what goes in there, all pure and natural ingredients) and sprinkle this all over our rooms that have carpet. Let it sit for a couple of hours while I vacuum the tiles and mop the rest of the house.... The ingredients for the deodoriser are : 1 cup bicarb soda 10 drops of any essential oil. I like to use Purify Mix ingredients well and sprinkle over carpets Tip : I got myself one of those shakers that coffee places use to sprinkle chocolate over the coffee from Coles. I find this mixture is enough for the 4 rooms of carpet I have in our house. I use my Enjo mop and have a spray bottle made up for those stains that need that little bit more oomph to lift the dirt. Floor Spray Cleaner ingredients are : 500ml glass spray bottle Squirt of On Guard Cleaner Concentrate 1 cup vinegar Topped with filtered or cooled down boiled water

23.01.2022 Good Morning everyone! Day T W E N T Y F I V E : Living/Lounge Room Am I the only one that likes to move furniture around to try and achieve a different look with the same pieces? Each time I do this, which is once a year I give our living room a good clean and dust. While moving the furniture around, wipe down cabinets, lamps as well as give a the furniture vacuum. I always seem to find some LEGO or dinosaurs, but never any money, I wonder why?... I change up the colour (by colour I mean a different shade of blue) of our neutral room by throwing a coloured throw and some cushions, vases etc. Let me know what you find under couch cushions!

Day N I N E : Blinds, Curtains and Shutters Just like the previous days, I use some of dTERRA’s On Guard Cleaner Concentrate into a bucket of warm water to wipe clean my plantation shutters.... I use my vacuum for my heavy curtains and my sheer curtains I put in the washing machine on gentle wash.

19.01.2022 Good Morning everyone! Day T W E N T Y : Toy Room / Child/ren’s toys With Spring in the air, it means warmer days and playing outside (well hopefully anyway). What a great time to go through all the toys and books and the perfect opportunity give to charity or pass onto friends the toys that your child may be that little bit older to play with or read.... I don’t know how many markers and crayons either don’t work or are broken that require replacing, drawn all over paper that will go into the recycling bin that isn’t worth keeping. Don’t get me started with Lego!! I’m finding them everywhere throughout the house and car. Anyone got any great tips? I’d love to hear them. We even have colour coded containers for them, body parts, accessories the whole lot. We pretty much have boxes for most of the toys, so sorting won’t be that hard, I hope!! I’ll wipe down everything with the Cleaning spray just to remove dust from the shelves etc.

Day T H I R T E E N : Toilets and Sinks For the toilet/s I use an old toilet duck bottle and make my own toilet cleaner, one that is safe for our water ways and very low in toxic chemicals for our health.... Toilet Cleaner : 1 tbsp unscented liquid castile soap or 1 tbsp On Guard Cleaner Concentrate Filtered water 20 drops of essential oil (omit if using cleaner concentrate) Old toilet duck bottle Add all ingredients into bottle, give a good shake prior to each use. Simple! For the sinks I use the soft scrub (see previous day)

If not, you can make a deodoriser to sprinkle over your couch, let sit for a couple of hours then vacuum. ... Do the same with your rugs. I take mine outside and wash with broom, soapy water and hose down. The ingredients for the deodoriser are : 1 cup bicarb soda 10 drops of any essential oil. 12.01.2022 Good Morning everyone! Day T W E N T Y T H R E E : Pantry Ewww what a big job I have in front of me. Our pantry is a walk in one with 4 big L shape shelves. ... I’m going to start by removing everything of one shelf, wiping it down with the Cleaning spray as well as wipe down all my glass containers and lids. I don’t have may open packets of things lying around as they all go in their glass jar/s when they become empty. I do have our microwave, kettle and toaster in the pantry, so they will also get a good wipe down and clean out as well. You’ll know where I’ll be if anyone is looking for me!

11.01.2022 Good Morning everyone! Day T W E L V E : Bath tubs & Showers For the bath tub I use the soft scrub paste and the glass cleaner for the glass on the shower screens ... Soft Scrub Paste The ingredients are : 1 cup bicarb soda A squirt of doTERRA Cleaner Concentrate or 1/4 cup unscented castile soap 1 tbsp distilled water, filtered or cooled boiled water 10 drops essential oil - any Citrus one glass container Method : Combine all ingredients into the glass container. The consistency should be a soft paste. Add more bicarb or water if needed. Should it dry out a little, add just a little bit of water and mix again. Can be stored in airtight container for about 3 months. The ingredients you will need for your Cleaning Spray is : 1 cup white vinegar 1 cup distilled water or cooled boiled water 30 drops of Lemon essential oil 500ml glass spray bottle

I love the space we have now. ... Go through filing cabinets, shred old invoices that you don’t need, maybe even scan documents to eliminate filing. Re-organise books and even add some personal items to your bookshelf that brings you some wonderful memories if you spend a lot of time in there. Add some family photos to the walls.

I always flip them over to get the underside. All mine a feathered and it’s makes it so much fluffier.

04.01.2022 Good Morning everyone! Day S E V E N T E E N : Linen Cupboard My OCD kicks in here. Everything is colour coded and matched. All my towel sets are together so when I need a fresh set, I just grab and don’t need to search for anything. My boxes are labelled, and my bed linen is all folded inside the fitted sheet (yep pillowcases, flat, fitted the whole lot).... You can get some cheap boxes from Kmart, Big W, Target and even Ikea to help sort and keep things tidy. Make some pretty labels add to your boxes so you know where things are.

04.01.2022 Good Morning everyone! Day T H I R T Y : Rubbish Bins/Area I think I've left the worst one for our last day. Clean out and disinfect rubbish bins and hose or sweep out the bin area.... I squirt some of doTERRA’s On Guard Cleaner Concentrate into the bins and add a good amount of water in let sit for 5-10 mins and then with an old outside broom, I scrub our big bins and let dry upside down. While they are drying, I hose or sweep the down the area where our bins live. Pretty easy, but non the less not the most pleasing job to do. Day T W E N T Y F O U R : Master Drawers & Wardrobe/Cupboard Hubby did his wardrobe clean out last week and got rid of a fair few clothes that I will be giving to our local charity once I have finished going through my side. I’m a little OCD (ok a lot) when it comes to my wardrobe, it’s hanging in colour order starting from the lightest colour to the darkest and all organised by singles, t-shirts, long sleeve, shirts, shorts, pants, jeans and all on... wooden hangers, none of this plastic or wire stuff. I throw all my clothes on the bed and wipe down the shelves and re fold nicely in piles and then re hang. I put aside items that may need to be taken to the dry cleaners or get mended. Maybe I can make some room for a couple of staple itemshmm! Oh well, time to get sorting.
