22.01.2022 I have been MIA the last couple of months and havent been posting anything. With working from home, home schooling the kids and isolating, I have been feeling a bit down, depression has been creeping its way back in. I havent been keeping up with the things the make me feel good and have fallen into old habits and not looking after myself very well. ... I have started to focus on doing those things that help me be me. And I am feeling more like myself again. Over the next few days I would like to share with you what helps me. How I get myself back on track and maintain it. How have you been? What do you do yo look after your mental health?

18.01.2022 Its not all about supplements and oils, I like to take a holistic approach to my mental wellness, thats why my next couple of strategies to getting back to me and maintaining doesnt include any products. The first one is exercise. There are some oils I can incorporate for extra motivation or muscle recovery but they are not essential and taking my lifelong Vitality supplements help support my energy levels. I usually get a lot of exercise while I am working. With working from home, and running groups online I havent had as much exercise as usual and hadnt replaced it with any at home. Another reason I have been feeling deflated. Exercise releases endorphins and serotonin that improve your mood. And is essential for mental health.

12.01.2022 Aromatic Dressing is one of the easiest and most beneficial self care rituals I do. And when I am feeling deflated being able to switch up my oils and use something uplifting really helps me start my day. My fav go to blend that really picks me up is Elevation. At night I love Ylang Ylang. Recently I have loved Melissa with Ylang Ylang in the mornings it has helped me to feel calm but uplifted. Aromatic dressing is all about applying your essential oils diluted with a carrier oil or my personal favourite the doTERRA non scented moisturiser, onto your body while you lovingly massage it in. I like to do this while saying a positive affirmation to uplift my mood. Its like giving myself a little pep talk to start the day.
