25.01.2022 Today we attended the Bulk Freight Futures Rail Symposium in Junee. We then went on tour to visit the ARTC Junee Control Centre and it was impressive! ARTC manages a rail network that spans 8500km across Australia. The Network Control Centre South, which employs 60 staff, manages operations from Somerton (VIC) to Acacia Ridge (QLD) and West to Broken Hill (NSW) on the ARTC Network. As you can see Kellie was pretty excited to point out Ettamogah on the screen and of course we finished off the the day visiting the Junee Licorice & Chocolate Factory (if you havent been we highly recommend it!!)

19.01.2022 It was a pleasure today to host our Prime Minister Mr. Malcom Turnbull and member for Farrer Susan Ley at Ettamogah Rail Hub. A great opportunity to discuss the governments commitment to rail, our regions and the funding of Inland Rail to serve the future freight task for Australia. Whilst many governments have spoken about inland rail, the Turnbull Government is getting on with the Job and building It!! Thanks to all ERH staff who put in a huge effort to make today possible. "Our REAL POWER is in the pride of our PEOPLE" #MalcolmTurnbull

19.01.2022 International Womens Day Betty Rees was inducted into the National Road Transport Hall of Fame in 2010. Betty was a true transport pioneer, she started the first taxi truck operations in 1954 with 200 pound on the kitchen bench and a second-hand ford van that became the first taxi truck for the new business. ... Betty, although operating in a predominantly male controlled industry was much respected for her honest judgment and common sense approach from both customers, and drivers as she steered the business in many new directions. Bettys vision for the business saw the operation develop from small taxi trucks to large vans and tray trucks and the first mini couriers that gave women the opportunity to be part of the transport industry. The transport dynasty created by Betty flourished for more than 50 years, culminating in the formation of the CRT group, which was runned by Col Rees and his brother Phil. Kellie, is the 3rd generation of the Rees family to continue on in the transport industry with her Nanna Bet being her number one inspiration. Heres to strong women May we know them, May we be them, May we raise them. #internationalwomensday #IWD2019 #balanceforbetter #womenintransport
