15.01.2022 Special mention today for a special young guy and talented soccer player. Gianluca D’Apice(2008). Academy Player. He joined us three years ago’ and since then,he has been playing two years up. Whoever sees him playing,doesn’t even notice he is two years younger as he plays as defender,central back or right back ,with quality and personality,,in the U14s JPL A competition.... This year he has played few times as midfielder with good profit. Definitely one of the best 2008 of South Australia. Great attitude and very coachable ,as well. See more

14.01.2022 Good weekend for Eastern United FC juniors,quality always pays off. Not too bad considering that most of the teams have under age players. Well done to all the Academy players involved.

13.01.2022 Another special mention for another special very young player of Eastern United FC U14s JPL A 2020. Sebastian Marashi,born in December 2008,has joined us 7 years ago and since 2015 has joined the Academy. Last three years he has been playing ,with great personality and displaying excellent ball control/management,against players born in 2006. Most of the time ,playing as central midfielder,he faces player much bigger in size, without having fear. That aspect forced him to lif...t the quality of reading the play in advance,improving his first touch , anticipating and speeding up any decision,on and off the ball. His improvement in those years has been enormous. Definitely another one of the best players born in 2008 of South Australia. See more

11.01.2022 Henry Heaney(2003) Academy player Great debut,full game,in a difficult game ,won 2-0 by Eastern United seniors,vs Gawler. Henry joined the club and Academy few years ago,at the age of 12,his first year of soccer. He has had a huge improvement,becoming very technical and tactically wise.... Great attitude,commitment ,resilience and athletic qualities(very fast)made him the player he is now a days. Good asset for the club but also for Australian soccer. Well done boy,keep going this way. 09.01.2022 U14s JPL A Eastern United FC Last special mention for today is for an amazing player,John Boccaccio(2007). John joined us three years ago. Initially he was very unfit ,very poor technically and his time/space conception was inexistent . Three years later he plays against one year older JPL A players,he not only is very hard to beat,as left back, but he comes out of the defence,most of the times ,with the ball in his feet.... Unreal improvements, made possible by his determination,commitment (he trains every day) and strong minded attitude. He is one of the few players who ,when told off,reacts giving you 200% more instead of putting himself down and giving up. See more

08.01.2022 Marcus Ellul(2003) and David Preka(2004) Academy players Debut for the first one,second game for the second one ,in the seniors first team game won 5-2 vs Mount Barker. Some good movements displayed and personality,but also some aspect to improve on. Over all a good general performance and the boys fit in well.

04.01.2022 What an amazing way to end up the wonderfull season for Eastern United FC U14s JPl A and Academy boys. 7 a side tournament. Under the high quality direction of Marcos Flores,our four boys,Thomas Iommazzo(2007), Lukas Bellden(2007),Gianluca D’Apice(2008) and Theodore Lara(2008), displayed an high level of individual skills and tactical abilities. Great grand final to watch, versus a quality team.

02.01.2022 Great night at Eastern United FC Academy. Thanks to Footytube. All the younger and older boys,enjoyed the tournament inside the Footytube pitch.

02.01.2022 Unbeliavable The boys made a miracle. Eastern United FC U14s ,next season, will be still playing inJPL A competition,U15s JPL A. The youngest team in the competition,probably even younger than skillaroos team,if not, just few months difference,we are the only team playing 9 players under age and 4 of them were born in 2008. Even though we made our life as hard as we could,specially in the last three games,missing many(but many many) goals and conceding very soft ones,at the e...nd we drew 1-1 last game vs Croydon and we finished the season two points above them. We go proud of having beaten teams like Raiders,Birkalla,Sturt Lions andCumberland.we also have to apology to a couple of players for not having given them enough game time during the season. We honestly have to congratulate with all of them. Let me also thank the assistant coach,Dominic Iommazzo and the team manager Christine Iommazzo.
