23.01.2022 The Groom to be (my brother) is a really laid back guy. Hes not into all the fanfare, so when conceptualising his decor I really had to keep his likes in mind. The vision was to incorporate outdoor/garden vibes with rastafarian colours (red, yellow & green)... My mums request was to still keep it culturally specific and bright. For the inside home - the dining room had to be transformed into a private room that looked presentable when closed off & not feminine with drapes. We wanted to acknowledge the brides cultural heritage for when she joins the family so traditional maasi print fabrics & plumeria (frangipani) flowers were used to create the vibe. Custom bilo soy candles by @giftsbyzara https://www.facebook.com/giftsbyzara/ helped create a sensory factor with nodes of coconut, jojoba & fir wood to transport one back to the bliss island vibes of Fiji. P.s Yass! Grooms drinks are ready to celebrate once the 3days of vegetarian meals, prayers & abstinence from alcohol ends.

21.01.2022 Before & after of the Reddys Electrical Christmas open house. Thank you Bianca for choosing Events by Nushie. We wanted to soften the hard surfaces exteriors by using greenery to create a Christmas ambience.... Reusing clients outdoor wicker table as the dessert table & Creed setup. My fave is definitely the gorgeous Santa balloon column. Clients provided their own Christmas decor, wreaths & garlands to create the desired festive look.

17.01.2022 Its been awhile since Ive posted... Just a little Grazing station for my Brothers house warming. Grazing included selection of deli meats, fruits, dips (Siracha Hommus was ), Dukka corner (far right; with artisan sour dough) a selection of cheeses (Maasadam,Edam,Brie served with honey hive, pistachio & cranberries, apricot & almond cream cheese & some Toy Story babybel for the kiddie grazers too!) Quince Paste & much more.

12.01.2022 When we say we can work in any situation, we meant it! Todays challenge. Dressing up this carport space while still allowing; 1)natural light... 2)No hazard to bbq that will be in use 3) access to house for party activities. Simple & effective iridescent foil curtain to create the feel of a separate space. Add the touch of an organic balloon & custom banner and we have the perfect spot to cut the cake.

11.01.2022 Big shout out to Adore Bike Escorts, they were brilliant & liaised so well with me all throughout, having booked months prior & then going into labour 10 days before the main event. Their support in the whole process & reassuring me that my brothers wedding will be just fine, given my split attention. Cant recommend them highly enough!

09.01.2022 Working with some of the best in the industry for my brothers ride. Having a disabled father & a superwoman mum who took on all the wedding pressure singlow handedly. A small gesture of a limo (disability friendly) to transport my parents, aunt & cousins as well as my little family too. Just meant the stress of whos driving, parking & not showing up on tone was avoided.

08.01.2022 Maternity leave but brothers wedding only happens once. Im honoured to be able to style my parents home for my brothers nuptials this week. Interesting fact: 6years ago I got married on this very same week (6-8Dec) & the 6th Dec happens to be my parents wedding anniversary too.

03.01.2022 Throw back to an original concept that was commissioned. This design stemmed from the wedding cards we had designed for my brother. The style of Lord Ganesha & the ombre colours, all complimenting the grooms wedding stationary.... *Funny side fact - I recently came across a replica of this exact design in green & gold. It looks stunning no doubt, however Ill forever love this design: A) for its meaning, B) the love that went into conceptualizing an original wedding setup for my brother, & C) because Ganesha is my all time fave.
