25.01.2022 A few clients have raised concerns with us regarding the recall of 'Infinity' cables sold through Masters Home Improvement stores. Evolve Electrical only use and recommend Australian made Prysmian cables. Should people have any suspicion that inferior cable has been used in their home, commercial or industrial installation we strongly recommend having this inspected and removed by a licensed electrical contractor.

25.01.2022 Sneak peak of a pretty extensive renovation I’ve been working on in Witta. This whole ensuite used to be garden and was where the main switchboard and solar inverters were located on the exterior wall, all of which had to be relocated to make way for the new ensuite. Love the effect of the led strip lighting under the cabinetry giving the feeling that it’s floating.

13.01.2022 Completed my first Tesla charger install recently. Paired together with Hager’s new 3 phase circuit breaker combined safety switch switchgear to provide full protection as required under the new wiring rules. Very cool bit of kit!!!

07.01.2022 We specialise in resort and commercial maintenance work on the Sunshine Coast.

06.01.2022 I love thinking outside the box! Recently I had a request from the manager of one of the resorts I do maintenance in to find a way to prevent kids pressing the emergency stop button on the spa, which if not re-set, stops the spa heating only to be discovered hours later when it's already cold. After a lot of research and head scratching I found the perfect solution in this cover for fire break glass panels which emits a scream when lifted. It's not enough to stop you using the switch in a real emergency but enough to deter mischievous kids. I had a custom sticker made up to read 'Spa Emergency Stop' instead of 'Break Glass In Case Of Fire' and voila case closed!

01.01.2022 Evolve Electrical is turning a new leaf, a new Nissan Leaf that is. With 270+km of range the generation II Nissan Leaf is putting EV range anxiety to bed. What I’m really exited about though is it’s V2G capability, which is due to be available in aus sometime in 2020 once approved by regulators. So the idea of the car as we know it is shifting, not only is it a mode of transport but also a home energy storage device.
