18.01.2022 Pilbara Coast Severe Weather Warning for DAMAGING, LOCALLY DESTRUCTIVE WINDS, HEAVY RAINFALL and ABNORMALLY HIGH TIDES Decaying TC Mangga will affect the Pilbara coast tomorrow and has the potential to bring with it gale-force winds (>63km/hr) and isolated rainfall of 70-100mm. Exmouth residents and businesses are advised to take the time to put away loose materials and objects in and around your property. If required, sandbags are available from the SES Operations Centre on ...Riggs St. Total Fire Bans exist from Coral Bay south however given the high winds expected here in Exmouth, a heightened risk of fire exists until the arrival of substantial rain. It's a good idea to follow our neighbour page Karratha State Emergency Service- they too post on weather conditions, what we as volunteers do on training nights and behind the scenes. With Karratha often receiving the weather before it reaches us, it's worth keeping updated from them too!
