18.01.2022 LIP TATTOOING Heres a great look at what a FRESH lip tattoo looks like compared to what that same tattoo will look like a couple of weeks later... (these are post procedure 3 weeks) although lips heal pretty quick, and from the outside they look like they are all healed, the reality is everyone heals differently and the times vary as much as the individual- but reality is although on the surface the lips look good, it is like sunburn on the skin, it takes a good 6-8... weeks to rejuvenate and settle and to put it generally everything tends to heal from the inside out.). Earlier this year I responded to a post on one of the local business forums seeking help for a lady who had unfortunately had a very bad cosmetic tattooing procedure. . Her initial encounter left her extremely disfigured, traumatised and extremely set self conscious. The brows turned a dark bluey/grey and the shape was well outside the natural bone, muscle and hair line, and despite numerous attempts to have them removed (else where) she was stil...l a long way from where she had wanted to be in order to retattoo the area. . Corrective work is complex, time consuming, often costly and its absolutely critical that the client understands the process and commits to it to ensure they understand what to expect and how to navigate through the ups and downs of the process while we are working towards achieving the overall end result... . Although this is the first tattooing after complete brow removal, there were still challenges that were navigated around and use also used a shaded to mist in colour as well as break up the underlying residual scarring as that too will affect pigment retention- these brows will heal super light and soft and we will assess again in 10 weeks and provide an ongoing update for educational purposes. .
