22.01.2022 After more than two years of supplying fresh local produce, we’ve reluctantly made the decision to put a hold on FarmGate’s produce delivery indefinitely. A number of factors have combined making us feel we need to take a step back and reassess how FarmGate Online operates. As a family, we’ve relocated into Gippsland and have had a number of key partners either scale back or wind down their operations. We started FarmGate Online as an alternative distribution path for local ...farmers and strongly believe in the importance of local food and the need for families to be connected more intimately with the source of their food. In the future, we’ll be looking at ways FarmGate Online may be able to continue to support those ideals. We will process refunds for current orders and any outstanding refunds over the next few days. We will also process all Fundraising ‘Gate Rewards’ over the next fortnight. To ensure that as many of the polystyrene boxes are recycled as possible we will organise a final run to collect from the FarmGates over the next fortnight.
