22.01.2022 Coming in the next version of FASTtag - barcode scanning across companies. If an Item is moved to another company, or you split your Items across multiple companies, you will still be able to find them using the barcode. This is a feature that has been requested many times.

17.01.2022 FASTtag Tablet now includes the newly released Motion Computing CL910, which replaces the CL900 Tablet. The CL910 features the new Intel Atom N2600 Dual-Core Processor (1.6GHz), up to 7 hours of battery life, 60%-75% improvement in performance over previous CL900 systems and increased system storage up to 128GB SSD. In addition to the enhanced processing power, the CL910 features improved connectivity with updated Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 4.0.

15.01.2022 One of the features that has often been requested is the ability to choose the columns that are being displayed. This will be available in the next version of FASTtag Professional Edition, in the Bulk Load tool. Choose the columns, reorder the columns, work the way you like and capture the information your customer requires.

12.01.2022 For the next version of FASTtag (in Professional Edition), we are looking at adding Custom Reports. This would give you the ability to define what columns to show in the report, column widths, headings, fonts to use and so on. The intention is that you would have complete control over the content and formatting of the report. Any comments on the usefulness of this, and particular features you would like to see in Custom Reports, would be appreciated.
11.01.2022 In the Professional Edition of FASTtag, we are planning to have a powerful, flexible invoicing module, to save time creating and editing invoices for your work. Some of the features will include automatically generating invoices based on your price list, and the number of tests you have performed. We also want to make it possible for you to add special items on-the-fly while doing testing (e.g. fit new plug top), that will then appear on the invoice. Other suggestions for invoicing features are welcome.
11.01.2022 Tag Designer: coming in FASTtag Professional Edition. Design your own tag layout with this easy to use design tool. You can create as many different templates as you like, so that the printed appliance tag contains exactly the information your customer would like to see. Also planned is a FAIL tag. Here is a preview of what the Tag Designer might look like.

06.01.2022 The Custom Reports that you add can be edited in a brand new tool, included with FASTtag Professional Edition, Report Designer. Once you add your report in the Custom Reports Window, just select the report and the Report Designer will open. This is where you add or remove fields, specify fonts and so on. You can even do things like filter the data that is shown in the report - so for example, you can have a report to only show Items that Passed, or only show Items Not Found, etc. Data can also be managed in terms of sorting, grouping, and showing group headers and footers. When you save the report, it is automatically saved to your FASTtag data file.

05.01.2022 The next release of FASTtag will include a cut / copy / paste feature. This will allow bulk move or copy of Items, saving lots of time. For example, when retesting you may find 6 Items that have been moved to a different location - select all 6, cut, go to the new location and paste - the Items are moved to the new location. Also look out for the paste multiple feature - copy 1 or more Items then paste multiple times - imagine how much time that will save, for example when adding 10 of the same computer system!

02.01.2022 FASTtag now has a mobile- enabled website, so you can keep up with all the latest product information, right from your phone. To visit the mobile-enabled website, just go to www.FASTtag.com.au and our web site will fomat the pages to suit the size of your browser screen. If you are viewing from a desktop, you will get the full website, if you are viewing from your phone, it is a cut down website, designed for the smaller display. You can also go direct to the mobile-enabled website (even from a desktop) by entering http://www.aus.com.au/fasttag/fasttag_mobile/.
01.01.2022 The Custom Reports feature is almost done for FASTtag Professional Edition. This will allow you to add new reports and specify the fields to include in the report as well as full control over the appearance, like font size, family, weight, etc. You can set up headers and footers as you with. The first step is to add the new report in the Custom Reports Window. Then you can give the report a helpful name and also enter a description, to help you remember what is in the report. To view the report you either click the View button, or for frequently used reports, you can add it to the Report menu for fast access. The screen shot gives you an idea of the Custom Report Window.
01.01.2022 Information for Customers: We have identified a number of issues with FASTtag 2.5 on Windows 8, and we recommend you do not upgrade to Windows 8 at this time. FASTtag 2.5 is supported on Windows 7, Windows Vista and Windows XP SP3. We are working on a new version which will support Windows 8 and this will be released as soon as possible.
