Something a little special from Lana and her Secret Lane Creations dying work this week. This set is a rainbow transitions bamboo velour set, made by me, using hand dyed bamboo velour which Lana has dyed, working her way through the rainbow creating a full array of 12 different colours. 09.01.2022 FIREFLY FIRST DIBS You may have heard, it's the Firefly Collective birthday month. In recognition of the birthday, we set our inspiration for this month as "How did we get here". So of course our minds went in various inspired directions. Mine went to shopping. Because in looking back on my business journey, one little memory that popped up was my fabulous magic beans! So here we are, restocked with these little cuties, which will be popped in with parcels again now. 07.01.2022 Firefly Collective FIRST DIBS So I'm told today is Saturday. The third Saturday of the month. Just don't ask me which month ... But, third weekend of any month means it's the Firefly Collective stocking tomorrow night. Thank goodness for some things that remain constant! I'm working away on a few items for the stocking, but thought I should just pop in with a preview and say hello... I'm still here... hope you're all doing well ... I waiver a bit... or a lot... and my brain is a bit smooshy from the increased stress hormones and the decreased routine and rush. One day I'm super motivated, putting on fresh dyes, sorting my pantry and throwing away all the "expired pre-2020" items from the back and the very top shelf and cleaning my house until it smells like an indoor swimming pool. And then I can spend a whole day on the couch counting fly poop spots on my windows and trying to remember the last time I wore pants. Working with these gorgeous rainbow swirls from Lana at Fluff E Stuff definitely improves my mood and my motivation though. They are just stunning. This is just a little sneak peek of something very beautiful in progress for tomorrow nights stocking.
