25.01.2022 12 years ago I welcomed 2 little boys into my life that now I call my stepsons. They are now 17 and 19. I often wish I would have been a better 'mum', paid more attention to them, stepped away from my work a bit more, shared more advice and stories, told them more often how proud I am etc... things I'm sure most parents feel. So today, my partner and I went to visit the oldest one at work. He has worked there for a while and we have never visited. With everything that i...s going on in the world right now this quote really resonates with me. Each morning we are born again. What we do today is what matters most. So today, I visited Kurtis.

21.01.2022 A little on my journey to becoming a leading professional development facilitator and 1 of only 10 international Facebook trainers: When I was younger I wanted to be an actress, I even got accepted into an acting school in Beverly Hills after an audition when I was 15. Being painfully shy as a child made the fact I was attracted to the stage very interesting, and somehow, years later, here I am! I have been speaking, teaching and training since moving to Australia in 2003. I always do my best to simplify even the most complex 'stuff’, determined to communicate in a way that my audience understands so as to inspire them about their business’. Perhaps it's the inner "actress" coming out because I honestly love it; I feel empowered, grateful and at home on stage doing what I do.

20.01.2022 "If it makes you nervous then say YES! A comfort zone can be a dangerous thing." MC-ing Momentum 2020: I am used to speaking on stage teaching my own material and love it! In fact, I have spoken on the Entourage's stages since 2015, and later turned into what they call a 'Vision Partner’, or mentor, who works with their members who are all trying to grow their businesses.... As soon as I was approached to be an MC I said yes instantly. I knew it would push me out of my comfort zone introducing an incredible caliber of speakers as well as looking after all the attendees... so from 10am - 4pm on the 15th Sept that is exactly what I did - and I even did an outfit change just to mix things up! I loved every moment. 17.01.2022 Often times when I begin working with a new client they reflect back that they currently feel hostage to their website, or the team that built it. 14.01.2022 Stay curious. About 12 years ago I took a group of entrepreneurs to Cambodia, a trip that was part of the Billionaire Adventure Club that I used to run. While we were all perched on the rooftop of a building next to the Royal Palace, I started up a conversation with one of the members, who was VERY successful. He said to me that he does not like to hang out with people who say the words "I already know that." It's something that has always stuck with me and helps me to keep an open mind wherever I go.

Maybe that smile you give is just what someone needs who is having a bad day, or that compliment you share helps someone who is feeling insecure see their strengths. Just remember "Do to others what you want them to do to you."... And speaking of leaving your mark - I love good street art. The first two are in London and the second two in Lisbon.

06.01.2022 I thought I would share this view with you guys from Port Vila, in Vanuatu. It was a lovely reflective moment I had last night as the sun set after a whirlwind trip! I landed in Vanuatu Thursday morning at 3am (after a 12 hour flight delay!). Woke up at 7am and off to teach a half day workshop for 75 amazing local businesses. Then a quick walk around Port Vila in hot humid temperatures. Have a look at my stories to see the local chocolate.... After that a lovely dinner and a pint of the local beer, Tusker with Jodie and Jeremy, the team at Pacific Trade Invest who brought me out. This view is what we watched as we reminisced about the day. A 4:30am wake up call this morning and a 7am flight back to Sydney. And over these last 2 days I kept getting the blow by blow of the Coronavirus news. Things are moving fast. Tom Hanks and Rita Wilson. Suspended flights from Europe to the USA. Traffic & Conversion Summit cancelled (a huge marketing conference) amongst many more public events, including some I was due to speak at. The Australian Coronavirus stimulus package for small businesses. I could go on. These are major moments that will leave lasting ripple effects. And they all happened in the very short amount of time I was away. I can't imagine what will happen in the continuing days. I am tired from the last 2 days, but I am also reminded of how important it is to not get wrapped up in hype, to stay grounded and grateful, to band together as a human race to support each other... and to not hoard toilet paper Here's to copious amounts of hand washing! #vanuatu #stayhealthymyfriends

Go for it! Dream big and take that leap. The world needs you and your voice more than ever. It's time to step out of your comfort zone and start! Just start, whatever the dream is; start that podcast, do more videos, write more, paint, teach, share... whatever gift for sharing the wisdom you have; do that! Here I am where I feel most at home; In front of a video camera in the Sydney Facebook Studio recording training sessions. For me, video works - but you won't find me writing much! What is it for you? Where do you feel most empowered, excited and driven to excel? Go out there and share that; teach & empower with the unique strength that only you have your story.

05.01.2022 Meet my fellow Facebook Community Trainers. I am blown away by how amazing these people are. We teach the Boost with Facebook Program to small business owners in Australia and New Zealand. We just spent the last 2 days at the Facebook HQ in Sydney and I was reminded of how truly important community is. Not only did we learn about how Facebook is focusing more on creating and helping more communities on and offline, we were reminded of how important it is in our own lives. ... And for me it is a big theme this year because it is something I need to work on. Not trying to do everything myself... asking for help... and remembering that we can accomplish so much more when we work together. So...Find your tribe and love them hard.
