18.01.2022 I added 40 additional paintings by Vincent van Gogh, including many beautiful landscapes and still lifes. Irises, Sunflowers, Blossom, Fields, Trees. I've enjoyed looking at and reading about these paintings while adding them to my store. https://www.redbubble.com/people/FineArtHD/explore

13.01.2022 Here is a collection of Monet's paintings of Water Lilies, with more vivid colours. I think these would look better on clothing, and possibly for prints (in some cases). There are 47 works in the collection. https://www.redbubble.com/people/finearthd/shop

08.01.2022 I've added a collection with many of Claude Monet's "Water Lilies" paintings, 47 of them to be precise! I think they are very beautiful works, and it's good to have so many to choose from. https://www.redbubble.com/people/FineArtHD/explore In some of the images, the colours seem a bit dull, and some seem very dark. It's a bit hard to tell if they are intended to be that way, or if the scans are a bit darker or duller than they should be. Anyway, I'm thinking I might make some variant images with brighter colours, and some variants with "pastel" tones, which might be good for a light summery shirt or dress.

02.01.2022 For the past few days, I've been preparing and loading some public domain fine art onto my Redbubble store. For many art works I've been able to find top quality images up to more than 100 megapixels, but for some art works the best available image is much smaller. So I've been looking at some AI-based "super resolution" programs to improve the detail on these images. The best I've find so far is an app called Waifu2x-Extension-GUI with the SRMD engine. It stands for "Super-R...esolution, Multiple Degradations", and is able to correct degraded or damaged images. It seems to do a great job at enlarging images, including paintings. Here's an example from one of Monet's Water Lily paintings. You can see the "raw" zoomed image, then with regular "bicubic" zoom, then with the SRMD engine. It's not quite as good as an ultra-HD scan, but much better than normal scaling.

01.01.2022 I'm working on improving the quality of my prints, by increasing the brightness of each image, and bringing out the colours more vividly. I think this will result in better prints, which will be more vivid under normal indoor lighting. It will also compensate for colours in the painting that might have faded over time. Here's an example of an original image scanned from a painting, the brightened version, and a final version with more vivid colours (just thumbnails). The painting is The Sleeping Gypsy by Henri Rosseau. I think this will make a huge difference when the art works are printed. I'm also thinking about setting up an AI image processor to remove cracks from the images of old paintings.
