13.01.2022 We can hardly believe it has been fifty years since the classes of 1970 and 1971 finished their Firbank learning journey. As with all our past students, these w...omen have remained a strong part of our community throughout the years and it was wonderful to have the opportunity to celebrate face-to-face and remember old times. #KnowValueCare #AspirationalCultureOfLearning #2021YearOfLivingCuriously #EvidencedBasedQualityTeachingPractices #PositiveClassroomCulture #FirbankGrammarSchool #50YearReunion

11.01.2022 One of the most precious parts of Firbank Grammar is the strong sense of belonging, once you become a student here you are always part of the community. It’s be...en 40 years and the class of 1980 and 1981 are still coming together as a family. It was wonderful to see everyone reminisce about their student days and update each other about events in their life. We look forward to seeing everyone again at your next reunion. #KnowValueCare #AspirationalCultureOfLearning #2021YearOfLivingCuriously #EvidencedBasedQualityTeachingPractices #PositiveClassroomCulture #FirbankGrammarSchool #ClassOf1980 #ClassOf1981 #40YearReunion

04.01.2022 Today we commemorate ANZAC Day, remembering all those who have given their lives in defence of our country. The students from our Brighton Junior campus painted... poppies while others created sewn felt poppies. The significance of Anzac Day is discussed with our students and they are encouraged to embrace the ANZAC spirit and show respect for past and current members of the ANZACs and the Australian Defence Force. Lest We Forget. #KnowValueCare #AspirationalCultureOfLearning #2021YearOfLivingCuriously #EvidencedBasedQualityTeachingPractices #PositiveClassroomCulture #FirbankGrammarSchool #BrightonJuniorCampus #AnzacDay #LestWeForget

01.01.2022 In celebration of Science Week last week, we recognise the outstanding and influential Science teachers throughout Firbank’s history. So many have inspired and ...influenced their students to pursue Science based careers. Especially Dr Lang who was a strong advocate for girls in science she was instrumental to the introduction of Physics into Firbank, the first girls’ school to do so. Thank you to all our Science Teachers. #FirbankGrammarSchool #NationalScienceWeek See more
