18.01.2022 Are you running out of school holiday ideas to keep the kids entertained? At 11AM tomorrow (Thursday) we'll be hosting another fantastic 'Cooking with Tegan' class online, and this time we're cooking scones. Yum, easy, and super cheap! You just need some self-raising flour, butter, milk and optionally an egg... and a really hot oven!

09.01.2022 Our friends from QuIHN will be providing Free Flu Vaccinations at The Fitzgibbon Community Centre on Tuesday 26th May from 10am-1pm. Available for anyone over 16 years, and with a Medicare card. We are encouraging those over 65+ to come early to avoid waiting times.

05.01.2022 On a very long trek back to the centre after a big exploration in the bush trails a few conversations were had as we tried to take our mind off the long walk ho...me. (And let me tell you.... Miss Emma can attest.... that it was indeed.... a very... very... slow walk back to kindy - as little legs can only go so far ) " Miss Emma is exercise good for our bodies?" Miss S asked. "Yes, it is very good for our bodies to get out in the fresh air. It helps our lungs, our muscles and it's very fun" Miss Emma replied. Another Miss S piped up and said " No! it is not good for us. I am very tired" Our conversations ranged from what food we can bring next time, to cupcakes, to a game of eye spy ,to why there are bush fires and who lit them, to how long is it before we are back to kindy. There were even attempts to see if we could speed up the walk a little on the way back. Our adventures out in our community here at Fitzgibbon are not only a way of connecting to the beautiful land we have here, but also providing ourselves with opportunities to really connect with our children and answer their questions about the world around them.

05.01.2022 Last 'Zumba for Kids' with Miss Kellie on Saturday 16th November 2019. Don't Panic and Stay Clam - Enjoy the last Kid's session and watch out for future events at Fitzgibbon. Miss Kellie's normal classes continues as usual.
