22.01.2022 TUESDAY 19th JANUARY AT THE FLAGSTONE COMMUNITY CENTRE: 9am - SOCIAL SENIORS - Make sure you wear your masks to the Centre, and once everyone is socially distanced and seated, we can remove them. 9am-4pm - CHILD HEALTH CLINIC - The clinic will offer a wide range of services including: *Health surveillance and screening *Growth and development checks... *Early feeding support *Nutritional information *Parent support groups and counselling to enhance parenting Drop in clinic until lunch time and by appointment after lunch (call 1300 366 039 to book an appointment). No issue is too small - come and speak to the nurses, gain confidence and help your child / children thrive! From birth to 8 years. 17.01.2022 TODAY IS THE START OF NATIONAL CARERS WEEK. National Carers Week is about recognising and celebrating the outstanding contribution unpaid carers make to our nation. It provides an opportunity to educate and raise awareness among all Australians about the diversity of carers and their caring roles. To celebrate Carers this year, the Flagstone Community Centre are hosting a Carer Support Group Information Morning for all carers on MONDAY 12TH OCTOBER (TODAY) at 10am. The guest speaker will be from the Wellways Carer Gateway. PLEASE SHARE this with any carers you might know in our community - particularly those who are not on social media. IT IS REALLY IMPORTANT WE CARE FOR THE CARERS ... THEY ARE SIMPLY INSPIRATIONAL! ALL CARERS WELCOME!

08.01.2022 This year at the Flagstone Community Centre we will be having TWO Playgroups - one on Monday mornings that will focus on children 3-5 years and their parents and one on Thursday mornings that will focus on birth-2 year-olds and their parents. Obviously there will be some children out of the focus age group - that's fine! We are trying to make the programs more age suitable, and allow parents of similar age children the chance to meet and development friendships and help each other in the journey of parenting. We suggest that you go to the Playgroup that will benefit your older child (and we will still have activities for the younger ones). Please note the dates for Playgroups - flyers available at the Centre!

07.01.2022 Book Club is on tonight at 6pm. Bring the book (or just just talk about it) that you enjoyed most over the holidays. Please RSVP to the Centre if you haven't been before so that we have enough food for you!
