11.01.2022 They see me Rollin’ It doesn’t matter what your favourite tool is - rolling or ‘Myofascial release’ is a great way to relieve tension, reducing muscle soreness and increasing mobility. Rolling isn’t just for after training either! Before a session can increase blood flow and help you to moving .... Some of my favourite spots to roll include: Base of the feet Calves and front of shin Quads and Hip flexors Adductors (inner thigh) Glutes Upper back, chest and shoulders Ideally we want to spend a few minutes on each segment, finding the tighter spots and using deep breaths to relax before moving on Avoid: rolling directly on top of joints, rolling the lower back and abdomen. When my clients come in for their first session I help find spots which will give the most benefit for them, send us a message if you want to get moving!
