24.01.2022 I have been waiting to get my hands on this footage for a long time! This was from our 99th cruise last year in May I think! It was our second to last cruise before expanding to new vessels! This cruise featured the amazing Adam Page scaring the pigeons under the King William St Bridge! Our next cruise is on the Dolphin Explorer Sunday the 3rd of March at 5pm! Featuring Amicus Strings performing Handel's Water Music and Marie Campbell with Andrew Georg performing Elgar's Sea... Pictures. It is going to be a wonderful evening! Tickets are limited and bookings are essential! Meaning "platform on wheels used for displays in parades" "Floating" some new ideas for future Floating Melodies! This year we have definitely floated in the water and in the sky. 19.01.2022 Seven years ago today I ran my first ever event for Emma Knights Productions, which was Floating Melodies. Something that was meant to be a fundraiser for my shows. Seven years later, Floating Melodies has occurred on boats around South Australia and even taken to the skies on Barossa Balloon Adventures! I have worked with over 300 artists in that time and several delicious food and beverage companies. Floating Melodies has been the recipient of several TripAdvisor and South ...Australian Tourism Awards. Currently, we are unable to cruise BUT plans are in the making for some big events coming up so do keep your eye out! 02.01.2022 Joining us for Floating Melodies: Burlesque on a Boat for the third time; Elle Nichelle Music! Elle Nichelle is a private vocal coach, singer, choir director and songwriter in Adelaide. She graduated the Elder Conservatorium in 2009 with a Diploma in Jazz Voice. Elle has performed as a lead vocalist with Gospo since their first show in the Adelaide Fringe: GospoCentric & GospoTivity (2009), GospoAzz (2010-2011), Gospolicious (2014), Gospolation in both the Adelaide & Melbourn...e Fringe Festival (2017) and Jackson vs Jackson (2018 & 2019). Elle loves being involved in theatre: her roles thus far include being a lead vocalist in Smokey Joe’s Café- Hills Musical Company (2016), Crystal in Little Shop of Horrors - Blackwood Players (2017) & Fortune Teller in Side Show - Hills Musical Company (2018). Most recently, Elle toured Buffy Kills Edward with Emma Knights Productions playing the role of Buffy for the 2018 Melbourne Fringe Festival & again at Adelaide Fringe 2019. Elle currently studies Speech Pathology at Flinders University. 02.01.2022 At Floating Melodies: Flamenco Valentine, you'll be treated to a performance from the stunning Roshanne! Roshanne spends a great portion of each year living in Spain, from where she performs, studies and teaches workshops. She is founder and Director of the Alma Flamenca Performance Company, Compañía Alma Flamenca, and co-founding member of Velada Flamenco Performance Company. Her passionate performances have been received with standing ovations, invitations to professional T...ablaos in Spain, and much acclaim both in Spain and Australia. Roshanne’s main solo was the climax of the programIt was exhilarating The Sydney Morning Herald, 2018. In 2003, she was scouted out of dance class with flamenco master Juana Amaya to perform at the iconic venue ‘La Carboneria’ in Sevilla, and has since performed in Flamenco Tablao in Madrid, Flamenqueria in Sevilla, Laberinto in Sevilla during the Bienal season 2019, and in Tablaos in New Mexico. She performed as a soloist for the legendary flamenco singer Pepe de Lucía, accompanied by world-renowned guitarist Oscar Guzmán (Adelaide International Guitar Festival) and with Pepa Molina (Fringe 2014). Her performances have built her reputation as a ‘dancer gaining momentum around the world (Kosta Jaric, Reviewing Adelaide 2010). Roshanne’s talent as a dancer alone is impressive with fiery, rhythmic footwork and a style direct from Andalucía, but her ability to express her genuine emotions through dance and emote at the same time is raw flamenco at its core.
