25.01.2022 Forgotten Souls Dog Rescue is at Paws in the Park, Camden NSW from 9am til 1pm. Come on down and see us at the Bicentennial Equestrian Park, Exeter St Camden.

23.01.2022 Can you help? Our little (big) Miss Millie needs a foster home with a view to adopt in NSW (She is currently in Seven Hills). *please read entire post before applying.... After being asked to help this girl when she was found with an injured leg as a stray by a vet, we couldn’t say no! Many scans etc later, we now know that she needs surgery on her hip to repair some damage that has occurred. We fairly urgently need a home for our girl where she can recuperate after surgery. We would prefer this family to want to add her as a permanent family member too so she doesn’t have to be shuffled around again to another home. Millie is a sweet and loving typical big pup. She is very smoochy, but will need lots of love, guidance, training and patience. We will pay all medical costs for her surgery and any other medical costs, however we need the right family for her so that she can recover successfully. She is going to need to be kept quiet and calm for a number of weeks after her surgery so will need a family who is mostly home to be able to closely monitor her and provide her with lots of mental stimulation (and loads of TLC). Millie is approximately 12 weeks old and already weighs close to 20kgs. We think she is a mastiff X, but she is a whole lot of big cuteness! So please be aware that she is likely to be a very large dog. Due to her injury we will need a home with no young children and no other dogs so that she can recuperate after her surgery. We also need a family who can take her to vet appointments etc. Millie has been microchipped (900164002069641) wormed, heart worm tested and treated, flea and tick treated and has her first vaccination. If you think you can help the gorgeous Millie, please send us an email to [email protected] and tell us about your family and what you can offer our Millie. 22.01.2022 Since posting this gorgeous boy we have not had one single enquiry for poor Scooby and we can’t seem to figure out why Scooby facts: He is 4 years young He is a Ridgeback X Bull Arab... He LOVES people He is highly intelligent and has learnt to sit, stay, heel, shake, lay down, ‘go to bed’ and is even toilet trained He loves zoomies (he will need a decent sized yard for his zooming behaviour!) Scooby must be an only animal for the time being, he needs a family or individual human who is prepared to continue his training to help him become the best version of himself To read Scoobys full advertisement please follow his link! https://www.facebook.com/471295319719798/posts/1701210483394936/?d=n If you are interested in meeting Scooby please PM us or send an email to [email protected]

22.01.2022 SCOOBY Currently located in Sydney, NSW. The wonderful Scooby is finally ready to start the search for his forever people! He is a Ridgeback X Bull Arab and approximately 4 years old.... Beautiful Scooby came to us after being brought into the pound as a very skinny stray. While Scooby has appeared to have faced some serious hardship in his life he’s a true fighter and ready to give a family of his very own all of his love. He is such a well behaved boy in his foster home, enjoying nothing more than a yard zoom, (he will need a home with a decent sized yard) laying in the sun and hanging with his humans. While Scoobs is still on the lean side, he is a big strong boy who will only continue to fatten up and fill out. Unfortunately Scooby can only see out of one eye, but we have had him checked out by an eye specialist and his eye is not expected to cause him any issues in the future. While he has lots of love to give, Scooby must be an only dog and is not suited to a home with cats. Scooby will need a patient family who understand that he will need ongoing training with his reactivity towards other dogs so that he can become his best self as he is still learning that other dogs are not a threat to him. His current family are working with him on his training and he is making some good progress while out and about on lead, but this work will need to continue. Scooby’s needs his forever family to be experienced big dog owners and would only suit a home with older, dog savy children. Scooby is desexed, vaccinated, microchipped (900164002012307), heartworm negative, flea, tick, worm & heartworm treated. If you would like to adopt Scooby, and can provide the requirements listed above, please send us an email [email protected] or PM our page. 06.01.2022 Look who’s ADOPTED!! Yep, it’s our beautiful boy Baxter! This big smooch was impounded when he was found wandering the streets. After no one came to claim him, we took the opportunity to give this once 6 toed boy a brand new start to a whole new life! ... He had 2 beautiful fosters, Jayde and a fur foster sister Abbey, and then Lera, Pez & a fur foster brother Ziggy. We are extremely thankful to these guys for allowing Baxter to spend some time with them while he could get settled into being an inside dog (it was clear he never was) and to learn about manners (also clear he never had any ). Although Baxter probably wasn’t the easiest first ever foster for Lera & Pez to have, it certainly didn’t take away from the love they gave and still have for him. Especially the boys, a bromance if you will. We did struggle with enquiries with Baxy boy in the start which we were a little taken back by because he is such a sweet soul, although good things come to those who wait, and that’s excatly what happened. Caitlin & Nick were eager from the start, never leaving any time for us to have doubts and were and still are 100% committed to whatever Bax needs (and wants, maybe even a little spoilt perhaps ). Congratulations to you Baxy, we wish you all the happiness and adventure in the world. You are finally where you should have been all along. Thank you to everyone involved in this cuties journey and a massive thank you to Caitlin and Nick for loving him as much as we do. Heres to another happy ever after!! P.S Check out the super cute videos in the comments

03.01.2022 FRANKIE - ADOPTED Frankie, Frankie, Frankie!! Our beautiful little Frankster has finally found her forever people! Many of you will remember this girl, infamous for giving the whole forgotten souls dog rescue community a heart attack when she contracted parvovirus. Our girl was so sick and had a very poor recovery prognosis due to the damage worms had done to her insides, having no vaccination history, being so young & being underweight upon contracting parvo. HOWEVER! S...he came back swinging and against all odds beat the horrible parvo! After completing her isolation she was finally free to find her forever home - but then another hurdle, Frankie got next to no interest in NSW, we were shocked at how this perfect little girl wasn’t attracting any interest. Her foster family then made the very hard decision to let her travel to Melbourne where she had multiple families waiting to meet her. Our beautiful admin Em made the huge trip to transport Frankie, where our other beautiful admin Tanija was waiting for her to introduce her to her potential new people. Then came along James! James had seen frankies story and knew she was the missing piece to his family, he did SO much research about her breed, parvo, training large breeds and everything a new dog owner needs to know! After meeting Frankie James and his family was smitten! She went off on her trial and we knew from the get go there was no way she was coming back into care Frankie now spends her days FINALLY able to venture out into the big world, going to watch her siblings sports games, bushwalking, sunbaking & just all round loving life! We are so excited for Frankie to start her new life with James and his family, this girl has left such a huge mark on all our hearts and we know she will do the same to every person she meets along the way See more
