05.01.2022 NT Department of Education News (regarding the work we are doing with the community) Gunbalanya continues to engage community Posted: 14 Aug 2017... Last week, the Gunbalanya community came together to develop/approve the school's Waralnang Business Plan 2017 - 2022. Waralnang is the Kunwinjiku word meaning saw as a vision - the renewed vision for the school is an agreed commitment to working together to create two way pathways for global identity and citizenship which: - reflects the community's culture; - embraces shared knowledge and new understandings; and - develops students, staff and the community's full potential. The engagement of the community in developing the school's business plan is a fine example of how a school effectively collaborates with key stakeholders to develop and deliver the best outcomes for students.
