25.01.2022 Im thinking of having a go at this next ....... Anyone got some spare rings

23.01.2022 Week ........ I don’t know what, of Covid -19, stage 4 lockdown..... What have you been doing? Please post a pic and a description of what you have been doing, be it lapidary or not. It’s a great way to keep in touch without breaking the safety strategies that Victoria has in place currently. I have been working on a temperature blanket that I started in the January school holidays but only got to January day 5. Now I’m up to February day 7 maybe I will get to March before ...the September school holidays I have also been working on a chain maille necklace designed by my friend Karen Donald. See if you can figure out what it’s going to look like from the pic with all the bits...... maybe draw a design, using the parts pictured, and then post it here

22.01.2022 Some very sad news, Muddy - John Waters, passed away on the weekend because of serious injuries. This was the result of a tragic accident that also took the life of his wife, Joan. Our thoughts and prayers are with their family. Muddy with be sadly missed by everyone, his quick wit, ability to help in any area and friendly acceptance of everyone is irreplaceable.

15.01.2022 Amethyst & Smoky Quartz with Analcime! A lustrous, sharply terminated quartz crystal has beautiful wispy amethyst and smoky inclusions. What makes this excelle...nt gemmy crystal more special, are the diamond-like analcime crystals attached to the prism faces. With magnification the analcime crystals look like faceted transparent jewels. This really is a special piece from one of the worlds best localities for quartz crystals. Locality: Tafelkop, Goboboseb Mts, Brandberg Area, Dâures, Erongo Region, Namibia Size: 48 x 19 x 17 mm SOLD. See more

Did you get the membership email? When you read it, change the years listed to 2020/2021. As it is for this year and next year......... not last year... Also please do do your renewal, as it is needed so an AGM can be held to keep all the legal stuff up to date. See more

06.01.2022 On Thursday 2nd of July for the 10 am - 1pm session, the clubrooms will not be open. The keyholder, me, has a cold and does not want to share it around. All you have to do is call the keyholder for that session and book in...... easy ~ peasy ~ Their numbers are on the email sent out a few weeks ago ...... yes go and have a look .
