22.01.2022 There will be no Free Trade Day events held this year (for obvious reasons) but that shouldn’t stop you being kind and using your skills to help someone in need. If you have a spare day or even an hour, your skills can change someone’s lives. 19.01.2022 After a year off, Free Trade Day will return this August 2021. If you're a tradie, would you give up 1 day to do a small job for a neighbour that really needed help? We are looking at connecting the best local tradies with people living in unsafe conditions, those that may not be able to afford tradies and those who's lives us tradies can change for the better.... 13.01.2022 This is Blair. Blair’s life was changed on Free Trade Day. Blair wasn't able to navigate his walker across the uneven slate. Central Coast Floormaster kincumber spent 3 days ripping up old uneven slate and laying new wooden floorboards.... This work changed the lives of Blair and his family. Blair can now get around his home with ease and will improve his daily physio therapy sessions beyond belief. You might be able to give up a couple of hours, or a day (we don't expect 3 days). Free Trade Day is about helping your neighbours! Its coming back this year in August! We will match you with someone local who really needs your help. Keen to get involved? 09.01.2022 CENTRAL COAST TRADIES NEEDED AFTER DISASTER! Central Coast flooding: MP calls for disaster declaration, and there is no council support in sight. The Central Coast may have just lost a historic structure. The recent floods through the entrance channel has not only damaged hundreds of homes surrounding the entrance waterways, they may have just taken out one of the oldest, iconic structures in the area ... There is a huge community push in a desperate attempt to save the heart of the local area The Boat Shed If you have any skills, we are looking for builders, carpenters. electricians, plumbers, painters and anyone who might be able to help! There will be a meeting held next Thursday 8:30am 15 Victoria Av the Entrance Cafe escape and on site. For a woman to get out of a horrible situation she faces, which could be financial issues or physical abuse she needs a range of support services and generally, a women’s shelter or refuge is the first point of call. Unfortunately for Parramatta Woman’s Shelter, they cannot keep up with the maintainance and are desperate for skilled, licensed tradies and material donations.... There centre is in desperate need of work. Small jobs to big jobs. If you or someone in your social media network could be a willing tradie or a material supplier that might like to support please share and tag. Any amount of help would be greatly appreciated.
