15.01.2022 Our first Pets In The Park (Launceston) clinic was held yesterday. Our volunteers, including two vets and two vet nurses, provided free veterinary services and ...support to three pets. Microchipping, vaccinations, flea, worm and tick treatments were offered, free of charge, as well as a general check up for each pet. We were also able to provide a free 'show bag' for each pet. Show bags included a good quantity of food, some toys and other items. The team were thrilled to be able to provide this first clinic. Our next clinic will be held in December. If you are homeless, or know of someone who is homeless, and have a pet, please get in touch via private message to discuss a referral to the next clinic. If you would like to support us to be able to provide free vet care for the pets of the homeless, we would love to hear from you. Financial donations will help us to be able to offer referrals for services we cannot provide on the day, such as surgeries, (including desexing) and other specialised treatments when the need arises. Please ask us for our bank account details. We can provide a tax deductible receipt upon request. Thank you

Thursday was a busy day with lots of helping hands installing lattice around the planter boxes, shovelling soil and stone, securing the archway, planting roses and veggies. Thank you Tori, Brendan, Deb, Helen, Frank, Dave M, Noel & Beckie. Such a blessing for everyone to enjoy!!

So many opportunities are at our doorstep including Youthway, new website, Gateway Garden project, and Kidsway getting going again! Preparations are in place for the AGM/quarterly meeting this month and we’ll be tapping on shoulders of those who might consider membership! We look forward to seeing you there on the 27th August.
