25.01.2022 A bit of a website update for people. The website transfer has been successful but I am still waiting for the email account to full migrate. So for the time being, feel free to email but theres no guarantee that youll get a quick response for the next few days while it continues. For quickest replies, please either get in touch via either Facebook/Instagram messages or call directly. Do know that any contact or booking forms are still being stored on the website safely so I can still easily find them, it just doesnt come through as quickly as normal.

25.01.2022 Pretty happy with how this one came out. Took multiple trips, dodging strong winds and a few hiccups along the way, but overall a good result. https://youtu.be/dR_RkVcr8X0

25.01.2022 My first attempt at a twilight 360 tour. This was a lot of fun and the camera performed really well considering the tricky lighting conditions. https://vtc.virtualtourscreator.com.au//0b0fc20bb7acf8108f

24.01.2022 No filter needed. Absolutely loved this photo from a recent photo shoot. Gotta love using mirrors to get different shots. #surfersparadise #goldcoastpropertyphotography #realestate #realestatephotography #goldcoast #mirror #beachlife

24.01.2022 When you have an infinity pool, to a canopy of trees through to a view of the city. Can you feel the serenity? #pool #goldcoast #realestate #luxuryrealestate #duskphotography #canyoufeeltheserenity #hinterlandviews #goldcoastpropertyphotography #architecturalphotography #infinitypool

24.01.2022 Looks like a good day for photo shoots #goldcoast #weareintheresomewhere #isitraining #goldcoastweather #goldcoastpropertyphotography

23.01.2022 So there are some bigger adjustments needed than I realised when it came to transferring the website. What should have been an easy process resulted in a number of issues across the board. So for the time being, clients who have my phone number please feel free to call, all other inquiries should come through Facebook or Instagram messages until further notice.

23.01.2022 So this happened today. I signed up to @ecologi_hq Doing my bit to try to be a carbon neutral person and business and do what I can to help our planet a little bit more. #ecologi #carbonneutral #climatepositive #goldcoastpropertyphotography #jamieauldphotography #planttrees #goldcoast #goldcoastrealestate

22.01.2022 Its safe to say my arm is feeling pretty dead after carrying this video set up around for 2 hours, after already completing a full photo and drone shoot for the one property. #exhausted #videotour #goldcoastpropertyphotography #videography #canon5dmkiii #ipadpro #busyday

22.01.2022 This is why, professional photographers should ALWAYS shoot with 2 memory cards in their cameras and also why professional photographers are usually more expensive than amateurs. When one card decides its had enough, the other one is there to save the day. Even though I couldve gotten away without this photo, still would hate for this to ever happen to an important shot when working for a client. Next time you hear someone saying that a $500 camera is the same as a $3000-$7000+ camera - this is just one of the reasons why there is such a price difference in the technology.

22.01.2022 Well, its safe to say that I was very surprised when I saw that Channel 7s Gold Coast News used a fair amount of footage from one of my virtual video tours as part of their story on this house. View the full video that I created for the property in Mount Nathan here: https://vimeo.com/gcpropertyphotography/6-8parma-crt... #channel7 #channel7goldcoastnews #realestate #goldcoastrealestate #notyoureverydayhouse #broadcastquality #goldcoastpropertyphotography

19.01.2022 Really happy with how this video turned out. It was a lot of work but definitely worth it the end result.

19.01.2022 Testing CaptureOne 2020 a bit more has proven interesting. Im starting to get the hang of it and now that Im a bit more fluent with the program, Im starting to really test what its capable of. Heres an example of CaptureOnes RAW processor. There is no way I wouldve been able to do this with Lightroom without getting a heap of that nasty grain that I hate oh so much. This is a single image edited purely in C1, no fancy blending or anything. #goodbyeadobe #newyearnewme #captureone #jamieauldphotography #changeisgood

18.01.2022 As per government recommendations, all photo sessions are now postponed or cancelled from Tuesday, 24th until at least 14th April. Although, I have already announced a reduction in services and was planning to wind down by the end of the week, this has now been brought forward to meet their guidelines. Thank you for all those who I have spoken to in your understanding for the need to reschedule. Heres hoping we get on top of this virus so that way life can return to normal as quickly as possible.

17.01.2022 That look of OH FFS!! When you head out to a job and get a flat tire from the construction next door. Fortunately able to stop off at Bob Jane TMart on the way to get it fixed. #notimpressed #nothappyjan #thanksbobjaneforthehelp #nowimrunninglateforwork

17.01.2022 Painted sunsets are the best. One of the few times Im both upset and glad that my session this afternoon was postponed. Upset that the session couldve had some amazing views and colours, but glad that I got to enjoy the sunset today rather than having to work through it.

14.01.2022 Casually chilling because you read the start time wrong by half an hour and now you gotta wait for the client to arrive... trying not to look creepy sitting outside the apartment building with a bag full of camera equipment. #awkward #whoopsmybad #itsbettertobeearly #probablygunnabesunburnt #goldcoastpropertyphotography #goldcoast #realestate #typicalme

13.01.2022 This is just funny and typically true

13.01.2022 Its such a buzz seeing my work as a featured article online. https://www.realestate.com.au//charming-gold-coast-cotta/ #katrinawalsh #8parklane #mounttamborine #harcourtscoastal

11.01.2022 It was absolutely awesome to photograph this incredible property last week. Detail shot of the illuminated pool and tennis court, just a few of the outstanding features of this unique property in the heart of Mudgeerabas Jabiru Estate

11.01.2022 **Work In Progress** This is easily one of the more difficult and enjoyable sessions Ive done in quite some time. The area looks amazing and was a treat to shoot. In the post production However, it has been a delicate process, with 5 different coloured light sources in this shot alone (6 in any shot Id used my flash with), its taken a lot to balance the colours. I wanted to make sure I didnt remove the warmth of the light because to me, it adds a really nice look to the r...oom. I think its coming along nicely and really happy with the result so far. #goldcoastpropertyphotography #jamieauldphotography #architecturalphotography #southerncrosscreditunion #office #interiorphotography #interiordesign #kingscliff #workinprogress

09.01.2022 This years kit, compared to last. Everything is being downsized to be compacted and simplified to make things not only more up-to-date with technology, but lighter and cleaner than before. On the left, 2020’s gear of the 5D Mk III (retiring to backup camera) and Mavic Pro, 1st Gen On the right, the new Canon EOS R6 with adapter and the DJI Mini 2. This is the first time I’ve had an up to date set up from the start of the year which is quite exciting ... #2021 #newgear #canoneosr6 #djimini2

09.01.2022 Things have been a bit quiet on my blog, website and social media. So much is going on in the day-to-day and behind the scenes with new services hitting the market. The biggest addition is... wait for it... New to Gold Coast Property Photography, 360 Photo Tours. These tours are NOT the same as Matterport style tours and are made to be a user friendly alternative to those wanting 360 images without the full house tour. For those of you who may prefer traditional Matterport t...ours, I will be continuing to offer these through a third party provider for the foreseeable future. This is more for those wanting something a bit different and with slightly different features. Head over to my website to see an example of how 360 Photo Tours look. Youll also find a blog post showing the pros and cons between 360 photography and Matterport Tours. https://www.gcpropertyphotography.net/360-photography/ #goldcoastpropertyphotography #360photography #virtualtours #broadbeach #goldcoastrealestate #lifein360 #professionalphotography

08.01.2022 Im pretty pumped to say that Ive finally gotten around to creating myself a third website, a website that will be a hub for my other works. Designed to be kinda like those LinkTree sites I see all the time, but one customised to suit my style and my work. #website #goldcoastpropertyphotography #jamieauldphotography #goldcoast #wordpress

08.01.2022 Left a photo shoot today and could see this awesome cloud effect in the sky. Couldnt catch it properly by default, so put my sunglasses in front of my phone lens and got it perfectly. #rainbowcloud #goldcoast #goldcoastrealestate #sky #cloud #rainbow #goldcoastpropertyphotography

07.01.2022 A great way to start 2021. Early walk on the beach AND nearly no one around. Was so peaceful for about an hour, definitely a better start to the year than last #happynewyear2021

07.01.2022 Merry Christmas everyone! Just a lol for the morning and Im sure some of you can also relate

07.01.2022 Due to the coronavirus - I will be limiting the number of available sessions for the foreseeable future. As of today, the online booking form is now unavailable and wont be ready again until health officials provide updates giving a more positive outlook to proceed with business as normal. For now, all bookings that are already lined up can proceed as planned unless instructed otherwise by clients, vendors or tenants. A few people have already called to postponed due to sel...f-isolation requirements and I ask for anyone showing symptoms to please do the same. This decision hasnt been taken lightly but the health of myself, my family, clients and vendors or tenants that I interact with is of highest priority. As the situation develops, I will update this page and my website with any changes to availability. If you have a session booked and would like to discuss it or if you will need something booked in the next few weeks or months, please email me or send me a message via Facebook Messenger. I apologise for any inconvenience and appreciate your understanding during this time.

07.01.2022 Absolutely loved shooting this landscape last week. This maple was quite a feature, even if it isnt in season yet, it still makes quite a statement. #maple #landscapearchitecture #goldcoastrealestate #realestate #luxury #goldcoastpropertyphotography #architecturalphotography #details

06.01.2022 Guess whos images were all across the Gold Coast Bulletin this last weekend? Made the front cover, a double page story and across an additional 8 pages. Pretty chuffed about that #goldcoastpropertyphotography #realestatephotography #katrinawalshrealestate #harcourtscoastal #luxuryrealestate #frontcover #goldcoastbulletin #goldcoastrealestate #realestateagent

04.01.2022 And so it continues! These on-going weather conditions are definitely proving to be difficult to deal. With fairly consistent rain over the past 6-8 weeks (at least), its easy to understand that there are a fair amount of sessions waiting to be booked and these need to take priority. To manage this as best I can, I am limiting new bookings that are coming in until the start of April. The goal is to try and help those who have been waiting for various services over these past... few weeks. As many of my clients request videography, drone and aerial services and list fairly high-end properties, they cant really rely on sky replacements (even good ones if I do say so myself), photos need to look real and authentic. With that said, anyone looking to make a booking, please understand that I will book you in as quickly as possible but there will probably be some delay until the weather stabilises. Thank you for your patience

03.01.2022 2020 is a time for change and that means (for me) attempting some new software and new ways of working in my day-to-day. Will this mean that I finally leave Adobe behind? Over the Christmas break, I began delving into this program to wrap my head around it with less time pressure. CaptureOne has definitely had a big learning curve, purely for the fact that Im so used to Lightrooms interface, but Im getting there and I think the results are starting to reflect in the images.... So far Lightroom has had a more user friendly interface (its strongest point) and it does have a few features and capabilities that CaptureOne just doesnt - which I think is odd considering this is supposed to be the premier catalogue style editor around. With that said, some key points about C1 are definitely proving worthwhile. With all that being said about Adobes benefits, Lightroom towards the end of last year began crashing constantly. In one day, LR locked up 5+ times and on several occasions resulted in my computer shutting down. Its not much use to me if I spend half my day restarting the computer. Now, I am looking forward to seeing how CaptureOne, and others, can improve my workflow and maybe even outperform what Ive come to expect in my work.

01.01.2022 Pretty happy with how this little vid turned out. Strong winds made things hard at times, but overall a good result

01.01.2022 Its great having the website back up and running! Its now faster and more secure, gotta love hosting upgrades.
