20.01.2022 Congratulations to the GMS2 Geckos for their fantastic effort in the Cap Coast Netball Carnival! The Cap Coast Netball Carnival was held last week, with hard work and determination paying off for the under-fifteen girls team, finishing in 3rd place after the two-day event. The girls won four out of seven games played over the weekend and even beat the favourites in the final match! The under-fifteen Geckos, sponsored by GMS2, was formed when one member, Teearna Cora, sugge...sted they put together a team to compete in the carnival. Teearnas dad Shaun, who works for GMS2 thought it would be a great idea if the Geckos were sponsored by Gecko! GMS2 organised the uniforms for the event, which I am sure you will agree look amazing! Jamie was born in Lautoka, Fiji and spent 18 of her younger years being raised on a boat, sailing between New Caledonia, New Zealand, Indonesia, Malaysia and Singapore. She has also sailed the whole East coast of Australia up to Cape York and crossed the Great Peninsula to Darwin. Jamie started off with Gecko MMS as an administration assistant, eventually working her way up to a Customer Service Consultant. Her day to day duties at Gecko MMS include the following: Log, assign, monitor and complete work orders, quotation requests, extensions, completions and re-attendance notices. Ensure service agents are compliant and meet all legislative requirements prior to issuing work orders, quotation requests, extension and re-attendance notices. Ensuring site specific inductions are completed prior to commencing works. Carry out reactive maintenance and assist in the recovery of disaster affected regions nationwide. Provide full administration and management for project and minor works, assisting with reporting in line with legislative frameworks.
