21.01.2022 Some new friends have popped up in the GGF playground at Centenary Hospital for Women and Children in Canberra.

20.01.2022 Thank you to Angela McDonald for her email about the playground at the Centenary Hospital in Canberra. "What a playground! It is the most impressive playground I have EVER seen. My son was in hospital on crutches and was able to enjoy the playground during his recent hospital stay. I liked the fact that the playground had something for ABSOLUTELY everyone, regardless of age, mobility or special needs. Lost for words - just brilliant. Keep up the great work."

18.01.2022 Erica Gregan joined Dr Peter Steer, Chief Executive of Queensland Health Children's Hospital and Health Services, to try out one of the installations for the George Gregan Foundation playground at Lady Cilento Children's Hospital in Queensland. Construction starts early next month. To learn more about this project visit http://www.georgegreganfoundation.com.au/playgroun//plans/

18.01.2022 George and Erica Gregan would like to thank everyone who has supported the George Gregan Foundation projects over the past 10 years. With your assistance we have built 5 extraordinary playgrounds in children’s hospitals and trained 14 incredible doctors in paediatric neurology. We are extremely proud of these achievements and look forward to sharing future GGF projects with you all.

18.01.2022 On the 14th November 2013, the GGF playground at the Centenary Hospital for Women and Children in Canberra was officially opened. The evening opened with a vibrant performance by local Red Hill Primary School drumming band 'Wassa Wassa', followed by the delightfullyl harmonious vocals of The Faumuis. Chief Minster Katy Gallagher joined George and Erica Gregan and Rupert Hogg to cut the ribbon, officially opening the playground. Many thanks to all the attendees and supporters of the Canberra playground project.

A huge thank you must go to designer Ric McConaghy and the team in Queensland who pulled this project together. They worked tirelessly, against the odds to bring this playground to life and GGF is extremely appreciative of their commitment. Thank you.

13.01.2022 It is with much sadness that we advise that our dear friend Paul Ramsay passed away overnight following a short illness. He was a true gentleman and we were privileged to have him on the Board of the George Gregan Foundation since its inception. He will be missed George and Erica Gregan.

06.01.2022 A massive thank you to Kim Lawler, Chelsea Spindler and the Front Row Events team for a fantastic pre-Bledisloe Cup luncheon event last week which raised $12,600 for the George Gregan Foundation.

06.01.2022 This is what it is all about. We received this email from a parent: "Our son has multiple conditions which are very rare and serious. We attend both Westmead and Randwick hospitals on a weekly bases as he has teams who look after his needs. I cry tears of happiness every time we enter your play area as it allows our little one to be a child and not a medical marvel. He has the best time and looks no different [to the other kids].... It also gives us the opportunity to enjoy our gorgeous boy. His brothers and sisters love the play area as it is not a clinical surrounding. Thank you for making our time in hospital a pleasant one. You have no idea the impact the play area has made to our family, and to be honest the smile it brings on his face is priceless. Thank you. Thank you for allowing our little boy and his siblings to be kids." See more

06.01.2022 It has gone down in history as one of the greatest Bledisloe Cup Tests of all time. With only minutes to go, the Wallabies George Gregan tackled the All Blacks Jeff Wilson to save a certain try and ensure that the Bledisloe Cup would stay in Australia. It has been 20 years since "The Gregan Tackle". On the 15th August 2014, the eve of the Bledisloe Cup, you can join George and Jeff, as well as other players from that historic match to relive the emotion and tension of the game and "that moment" at a luncheon at The Westin Sydney. The George Gregan Foundation is very fortunate to be nominated as the charity partner for the event. For more information visit http://www.rugbylunches.com.au/bledisloe-cup-lunch/

05.01.2022 Construction has commenced on the latest George Gregan Foundation playground at the newly developed Lady Cilento Children's Hospital in South Brisbane. In just a few weeks time the hospital and playground will be open to the public.

04.01.2022 Torrential rain, humidity, G20 - the Brisbane construction team have been working under extreme conditions in the past week. Miraculously they are still on schedule and we can't wait to reveal the finished playground in just a few short weeks.
