22.01.2022 WORLD FOOTBALL STUDENTS ENJOY MASTERCLASS FROM SOCCEROO + GLEESON OLD SCHOLAR CRAIG GOODWIN (Class of 2009) > Former Red Craig, who currently plays for Al-Wehda in the Saudi Professional League, shared his amazing football journey with our Year 7 and Year 9 World Football Classes, including his Gleeson playing days wearing #8, and then took to the pitch to join in some precision skills drills with the students. A big thank you to Craig for coming home to visit us and also to our World Football Head Coach Daniel Mullen for organising this awesome experience for our Gleeson footballers.

10.01.2022 Gleeson World Football Students in Year 7, 8 and 10 were privileged to have Adelaide United star defender Jordan Elsey (Class of 2011) return to share his journey and expertise yesterday. Jordan chatted with the students and allowed them to ask questions for their assignments, before donning the boots and taking to the Gleeson Pitch for a mini skills session and game. Thank you Jordan and we all can't wait to see you back in Red soon!

04.01.2022 CHAMPIONS 2020! > Congratulations to our Year 7 Boys KO Soccer Team, along with Coaches Peter Librino and Mr Peter Terminello, on defeating Seaford PS 3-1 in the State Final at VALO Football Centre this morning. The boys were crowned champions of Pool A (Small Schools) and presented their medallions and team plaque at the end of what was a very hard fought victory against a good quality Seaford side. Well done boys!!
