25.01.2022 Our Year 8 students are busy designing and making their own pillowcases in Textiles with Ms Sintija this term. Are there some future designers in the Glenroy College mix? Quite possibly!

22.01.2022 Our new senior building.

20.01.2022 Year 7 students will return to on site learning at Glenroy College on Monday 19 October (not 12 October) and Years 8, 9 and 10 students will return to on site learning at the College on Monday 26 October. Masks will need to be worn at school, students will need to bring their own water bottle and be in full school uniform so start getting yourselves organised early.

18.01.2022 Exciting news today with the first parts of our new senior learning building arriving onsite. All modules should arrive this week and then they will be joined to form the building. The new administration area is on track for a handover during the holidays.

09.01.2022 Our local MP Lizzie Blandthorn has shared a little sneak peek of the exciting building works happening right here at our college. Have you noticed the new buildings springing up at the front of our school? Take a look - we cant wait to welcome back all our Glenroy College students into our brand new buildings soon!

08.01.2022 Welcome back to Term 4. Thank you to everyone for doing the right thing and staying home so we could get the spread of the virus under some sort of control. We are nearly there. In the meantime, all students resume Remote Learning Monday 5 October. Year 12 students come on site for the GAT exam on Wednesday 7 October-remember to bring water, pen, dictionary. Year 11 and 12 students resume classes on site from Monday 12 October. Years 7 to 10 continue with Remote Learning until further notice. Remember that we now have a new admin building-entry from Glenroy Rd. If entering from Cardinal Rd, follow the signs and keep out of the safety fence-it is there to keep everyone safe.

08.01.2022 While the builders have been working extremely hard, the final buildings will not be ready for the start of the school year but we are not very far away from the final handover. Our perimeter fences will be almost finished when you return as will our new access gates. Remember that now is the time to start getting ready for the school year-check if you need more uniform parts or school shoes and get your books/stationery and locks ready to bring. Charge up your laptops and dust off your drink bottle.

03.01.2022 Bell times for 2021 have been confirmed as follows: P1: 9.00-10.00 P2: 10.00-11.00 P3: 11.00-12.00 *Lunch 12.00-12.40 (40 mins with locker bell at 12.33)... P4: 12.40-1.40 P5: 1.40-2.40 * Thank you to the hundreds of students and staff who voted overwhelmingly to keep the earlier finish time for the school day. As a compromise, we have agreed to have a slightly longer lunch break so that everyone has time to eat their lunch and to have break from classroom learning. We plan to have lunchtime activities happening across the weeks and remember that the Cafe is open for lunch times as well. See more

02.01.2022 Did you know you can still borrow books from our college library during remote learning if you live within 5kms of our school? Ms Tandy is in the library every Thursday sorting your book requests. All books are packaged in plastic bags for hygiene. Here are some of the loans shes getting ready for Glenroy students today. Theres still time to make your book reservations so jump on to our online library catalogue and pick your books! Exercise your legs AND your brain and collect your book package from the school office during your daily exercise.
