We've been working with the festival on their marketing and publicity and are super excited to be involved with this amazing and historical folk, world and roots festival. 05.01.2022 In 2016, we were successful in the tender to produce the State Library of WA's major event, Disrupted Festival of Ideas. This was when GM Consulting was born. For the past four years we have worked across organisations and industries to deliver a wide range of projects, from major events like TEDxPerth and Perth International Jazz Festival to launches for Barking Gecko Theatre to marketing and development strategies for Centre for Stories and Perth Festival. The projects we ...worked on employed of 50 arts and events workers annually and gave opportunities to hundreds of artists and speakers. With most projects planned in 2020 being event based, the COVID impact has been felt deeply. GM Consulting isn't dead, there are still a few projects ticking along but it's not sustainable for the team in the long term. I just wanted to say THANK YOU to everyone that has been part of GM for the past four years. To Rach, Davo, Jo, Aimee, Sarah, Jayne, Sam, Gemma, Jess, Scott, AK, Fi, Shona, Jenna, JC and everyone who has been part of the team to make it the success it has been - you're all amazing. Don't forget - we may be able to go back to our favourite cafe, back to the gym and have a drink with friends - but the arts and events sector has been hit very hard and will be irrevocably impacted. Support these people, do what you can to ensure they are okay and thank them for what they do when they can do it again. x G
