10.01.2022 Those who have come for the last 16 years of World Goa Days will not be swayed by detractors for they are intelligent enough to know the differences. The motto is simple - Come for a function that is bug free, have a good time and absolutely no politics or ambitions to topple or discourage anyone from going wherever they wish.

09.01.2022 Dear friends Due to COVID-19, World Goa Day this year - 2020 will not be celebrated in Melbourne as in our usual fashion. In an attempt to keep everyone safe and in compliance with current social distancing requirements (to slow the spread of the virus), we will look to celebrating bigger and better in 2021!... Hopefully the pandemic has made most of us to consider 'essentials' and this may also be the time to reckon changes in the way we live, our attitudes and behaviours given the fact that the world has lost 410K people (may their souls RIP) out of 6.1M who were infected due to Coronavirus-19 in 4 months time. The team at WGD considers it our duty to protect those Goans, their families and friends (who have been attending the event for the last seventeen years) and endeavour our best that no one is a victim of Covid-19. Above all we would not like to read or hear that Covid-19 victim/s were infected in a function held by Goan community in Melbourne! Do we?
