25.01.2022 Hey everyone! BIG ANNOUCEMENT!!! We will be running a DRAFT CHAMPIONSHIP series!!!... The first qualifier is happening on the weekend of March 20th-21st BUT you will definitely want to be there on March 20th!! The idea is you will be able to attend these qualifiers and if you win one of the qualifying drafts (max 8 per weekend), you will qualify for the big end of year Draft Championship!! There is some big prize money to be won! Money from each entry will go towards the end of year Draft Championship prize pool and only the winner will get to take it all home!!! Make sure to click attending and to share this with ALL of your drafting friends! I'm sure they wouldn't want to pass off the opportunity to win some big $$$$$.

17.01.2022 If you have visited the store lately, you might have noticed we have become recently OBSESSED with Star Realms! It’s an amazing and fast deck building game in a deceptively small box! The base game has 2 starter decks for two players and is extremely portable. There is a bunch of awesome expansions that expand the game into multiplayer free for all or team play! It’s such a diverse and flexible game, anyone could learn how to play! You will find yourself playing for hours!!

10.01.2022 Due to shipping delays, the Kaldheim prerelease will now be starting from Friday 5th February 3pm. If you are interested in prerelease and would like to register, please contact us in store, over the phone or via private message!! If you prefer to bring in your own group, we can also run prerelease any other day of the week starting from Friday 5th February 3pm. You just need at least 4 players! Don't forget to preorder your booster boxes, set booster boxes, prerelease kits, bundles and everything else ASAP! If you wait too long, we may not have enough stock to ensure you get yours on release day. This set is looking pretty amazing so far so make sure you don't miss out and preorder today!!

05.01.2022 Buyer beware! In the last year, we have been becoming more aware of dollar stores, newsagents, pop up shops and market stalls that are selling counterfeit copies of some popular board games!! These games can appear to be real, they have the same stickers and clingwrap as the real thing but most of them have different art, distinguishing features can be missing and sometimes the colour of the printing is off. They often range in price and can be only a couple of dollars cheape...r (or sometimes more expensive!) but believe me, coming from someone who owns a large collection of board games, the quality is definitely not the same from the photos and discussions I have seen on board game groups like the one I've shared! We are extremely grateful to those who continue to support us during these troubling and hard times. Make sure to always support your Local Games store because in doing so, you protect yourself from these counterfeit copies of games and you make sure they will stick around!! ~ Jenny
