25.01.2022 After 2 months we re-open the swim school this Friday under Phase 2 restrictions. There are some changes when you arrive, such as no showers and no change rooms - but toilets are okay. We are only allowed a maximum of only 20 persons in the pool at any one time, so that means 10 swimmers and 10 guardians. So there is also a 15 minute break between lessons so that 20 people can leave, and 20 people can enter. We know it is not ideal, but it is still so much better than no lessons. We look forwards to Phase 3, when a lot more of these restrictions will again ease. And given how well WA has done maybe that is now only a few weeks away. If you would like to re-book we have lessons on Friday am, Saturday am, Monday pm and Tuesday pm. Please email us at [email protected] to book.

Remember we are indoors, you can park right at the front door, the water is 32 degrees and we gas heat the air so you are warm and dry at the end of your lessons. 16.01.2022 We had the pleasure of coaching Blair Evans for over 10 years in our lessons, Dolphins, Sharks, Juniors and Senior Squads as she moved onwards and upwards to Olympic level. As well as being a great swimmer, Blair is also an ambassador for Funkita. At our new swim shop (called The Swim Shop!) opening November at Floreat Shopping Centre, you can find bathers that look this good for toddlers through to adults.

If you do have a baby aged 6m to 2.5 years and would like to get into lessons, please contact us at [email protected] or call us us on 9306 8155. Classes are Friday and Saturday mornings. 09.01.2022 That’s a wrap for the Ocean Heroes 24 hour swim. Our team swam 98km and raised $3500 for autism awareness. Survivor fans out there will recognise Luke Toki who also participated .

07.01.2022 If you are returning to swimming lessons please take note of the Covid Safety Guidelines for Sport and Recreation that we must follow for Phase 2. We have to socially distance (seats are marked). We are not allowed to open change rooms during Phase 2, so please use the "Wrap n Go" technique as pictured, and shower your swimmers at home! If you are in baby lessons, you can quickly change your baby after lessons to get warm, but cannot use any of the communal baby change tables.... We suggest bringing a big towel for comfort if you do want to change your baby quickly after your lesson.There is also a 15 minute changeover between lessons, so please only arrive 5 minutes early for your lesson, which will give the previous swim group the time to leave after their lesson finishes. With only 20 persons allowed in the swim school we have to shuffle one group of swimmers out, before the next group comes in, which is what the 15 minute break between lessons is for. We know it is not ideal, and a bit annoying, but please work with us. We have all missed swimming and we are fortunate to be able to start lessons again. See you soon! See more

07.01.2022 When you enter the Rotto Swim they prompt you to raise money for charity. You don't have to do it, but I thought that I would as I think it will help me get across the Channel. So I have chosen the Act for Kids Charity to support. Act for Kids work to prevent child abuse and neglect. Even if you don't care about me swimming to Rotto, but you do care about helping kids doing it tough to move forwards, please make a donation.

Please note masks do need to be worn until Friday, and due to limited numbers of people allowed in the swim school, please only arrive on time and wrap n go at the end of your lesson. Please note that under Phase 2 restrictions (max of 20 persons in the swim school) we do have very limited class positions available - but we will do our best to find a class for you.

01.01.2022 Restrictions lift to Phase 3 as of Saturday June 6. Although we wont be opening any additional lessons days to the current Monday pm, Friday am and Saturday am for quiet some time, we will be removing the 15 minute break between lessons and reverting back to our normal 30 minute lesson structure.
