25.01.2022 Getting some more rain

24.01.2022 Just another update on how things are doing at Green hill garlic farm ,added some more organic dynamic lifter ( chook poo ) another week or so will add blood and bone later to help the bulbs form properly.

22.01.2022 Started planting for season on Wednesday and finished Thursday,couldn’t use the front part of the paddock as was to wet .

20.01.2022 The paddock has been started ready for next years crop of garlic.same method of preparation and fertiliser, the mulch will be bark instead of hay, although that might change

19.01.2022 Getting the new field ready, a little bit of leveling and grass control , has come up quite well so far.

08.01.2022 On the Last visit to the farm got some photos of the dam at full capacity ,not a worry about water now.

08.01.2022 Harvested some ginger and turmeric from the Aquaponics system today (at home in Qld) going to build an Aquaponics system in Taree in the near future in a larger scale

08.01.2022 Started harvesting Thursday morning and was finished by the afternoon and all stored in the shed with the fans .

07.01.2022 Finished Thursday and feeling it wow every muscle hurts,but all planted and mulched and some fertilisers added. The wait begins.

07.01.2022 New addition to the farm , little kubota with slasher and roto tiller picking up on the weekend, Garlic growing is becoming much easier woohoooo!

06.01.2022 All of the paddock ploughed and Dolomite lime has been broadcast to bring up the Ph ready for next years planting.
