24.01.2022 Our group classes are changing.. And absolutely for the better! We are set to kick off our new group classes again on Saturday the 27th of June. It's fair to say that 12-weeks of downtime should mean that we absolutely nail a new structure and classes that reflect strongly what our gym represents. Classes that if completed together offer a great balance of strength training, conditioning training and HIIT sessions. Classes will now be both hands on and educational with everything explained in great detail for you all to benefit from. 22.01.2022 GREAT NEWS If you were a standard member at @gymongrimshaw247 before the crisis we are going to grant you 24/7 access be for the one off price of the access device ($25) if you organise this with us before the end of July. This comes about as we are look to use our 24/7 model to make sure we can stick under the current guidelines of less than 20 people in the facility at any one time. The CCTV is viewed remotely by two places to ensure we do this safely and properly. The c...oncern is that if not enough people are on the 24/7 model we will become too busy during staffed hours and will have to turn people away. More details released soon about how we will tackle our June 22nd comeback but for now you can ensure we are working very hard behind the scenes for you all. Some of the changes you can expect -1.5m Distancing of the cardio section -5 Sanitising stations within the gym -Mandatory use of towels -Mandatory cleaning of equipment after use -Promotion of hand washing before and after visiting the gym -Group classes limited to 10 and run outside -New group class structure annouced shortly -Doors always open to promote air flow Maybe some other non-covid surprises too! New playlists, equipment.. 22.01.2022 Very proud of the crew continuing on with their weekly PT sessions with us. First we ran small group sessions, then 1-1 and now back to the group. Not only did they decide to continue training with us to keep their conditioning and sanity but they all have actually got considerably stronger in the process. Olivia jumping from an @gymongrimshaw247 deadlift PB of 40kg to an impressive 65kg and the boys jumping from 60kg to over 100kg now. ... We have also upped our cleaning game doing routine steam cleaning of all hard surfaces on top of other routine work. Make necessary changes to make sure it starts to work for you. ... 4) Try and not overdo the bad news. Keep informed but pay close attention to your own mental health. 5) Keep eating healthy. We will come back freshly painted, with new signage and more desire to keep progressing forward with our standards and what we can offer our members.
