25.01.2022 Good morning Hawks!!! As finals are fast approaching we need to ensure everyone has paid their second payment for their upfront fees for the junior competition. If these arent paid ASAP players will be unable to take to the court. If you think you may have missed the payment PLEASE let us know. We will be getting in contact with those who need to pay. Also players who havent played 5 games for the season will be unable to take to the court in finals. Thank You Hawks Basketball Committee.

25.01.2022 ***COACHING*** When putting teams together it is too hard for us to contact every parent to see if they are interested in coaching. Therefore as has been done for many years now we select a person that we think may be interested, but if that is not the case they can send a message out and see if someone else will take on the job. If you haven't been named as coach but would love to do it don't hesitate to contact the person nominated and offer your services. Our club doesn't... function without parents volunteering their times to assist. Hoping by now coaches/team contacts have reached out to their teams, if you haven't please do so ASAP. 23.01.2022 Summer Competition Update As you may remember from an earlier post, we were working towards the Junior Summer Competition kicking off next week. Unfortunately, ...due to current restrictions, competition cannot commence as we are still waiting for more information and clarity on the Return to Play Guidelines. Obviously this situation is disappointing, but we are hopeful that in the coming weeks we will be able to confirm a start date and further details on what the upcoming season will look like.

Coaches have been nominated by the club in most cases so if you are keen to coach your child’s team be sure to express your interest as the person nominated may be happy to hand over the role. It was really difficult working out sizes for everyone, so we are aiming to be there prior to each game, if you try on your singlet and its too small or too large come and see us. Duty includes collecting $10 from each player and providing a ticket to the player. After the last game the money is to be sorted and placed in a calico bag with a note of how much is in the bag and given to the court supervisor.
