21.01.2022 Weaning time for our beautiful heifers by Wollumbi Hero (Mulberry son). We worked hard to keep them and their mums through the drought. Nice to see them enjoying the green grass.

10.01.2022 Well the year ended on a sad note for us with the loss of our son Harry’s beautiful stud cow Fat Little Ruby. We did all we could but she had a blockage in her stomach that even the vet couldn’t surgically correct so had no choice other than to end her suffering and put her to sleep. A massive loss as having had to cull so many of our beautiful stud cows she was one we couldn’t part with. We sold both her daughters in late 2018 to Queensland so sadly it’s the end of her line for us. This drought is a real bitch, all we hope for is an end! Pictured our beautiful Ruby in much better times.

05.01.2022 You can take the bottle off the poddy but you can’t take the poddy out of the steer lol A good 5 years ago but when 975kg ex poddy calf ‘Arnie’ spotted his bottle he was straight over for a drink!
