11.01.2022 G day all, due to the uncertainty surrounding the current situation and restrictions on attendance at games, we have made the decision to cancel some of our teams. We would not likely to have the numbers to field teams as we would like. So for the winter competition we will only run an under 16 girls team and an under 18 boys team. Thank you for understanding and your support. Be assured that we will push for as many teams as possible for the summer season so keep practising, follow the 2 teams playing and get friends excited about the future of basketball in Heathcote.

11.01.2022 The end of week 1 summer 19/20 - congratulations to all our players , what an exciting week. And remember win lose or draw if you can say every time you step on that court, you held your head high, gave your team mates 150%, were a good sportsperson, thanked your referees and scorers, your coach and manager and of course mum/ dad/ Aunty/uncle/ grandparents or whom ever got you to your game, then you are a little ripper! A huge thank you to all the coaches and managers who have stepped up, we all appreciate it very much.

09.01.2022 G day all. With all that has unfolded this week, we have decided that in the interests of the players and their families all games and training will be cancelled for two weeks. We also wish anybody affected by this virus a speedy and full recovery.

The boys teams train tonight 10s 12s and 14s boys training will be held 4:30 tonight at the heathcote stadium and the 16s and 18s boys will be at 5:30 tonight heathcote. Go Panthers!

07.01.2022 Round wrap up- Well another great week of basketball for the kids. Last night was a mixed bag with the under 10s and 12s going down but the McFadzean boys cleaned up with the awards for the week. Looks like its a cheap night out for dinner at the stadium next week you guys The older boys in 16s and 18s both came up with victorys with a convincing win for the 16s 53-15 and the u18s hitting their first tonne scoring 103 points to Generals pumas 34. Well done everyone, another great week of play.

03.01.2022 Another big week for the Panthers. Friday night update: Under 10 boys going down but learning more and more each game. Major rockstar Luke Anderson came home with the award. Under 12s had a bye the lucky buggers and the under 16 boys came home with another victory with some impressive play. Under 18s came home with the goods with another tight game that kept parents on the edge of their seats! Well done on another great round Panthers!
